“great stay”
the place was clean and wll maintained. very accessible to shops, beach and the manager let us checked in way early than scheduled time of check in.
“Very satisfied”
Our room was a little rough around the edges, but very clean. We were very comfortable and to wake up in the morning and watch the ocean from bed was awesome. This is the closest I have ever been to the ocean when staying at a hotel. I also like the fact that we were able to have breakfast and lunch in the room if we wanted. Everything in the way of cutlery, dishes and appliances was supplied.
“Nice small resort.”
We were pleased with our stay there. Awesome beach and the view from our room was awesome. Room was just fine for two adults and a child. Room was clean and the kitchenette was adequate (except for no oven). Good place to stay if you're looking for a place without the frills. My only wish is that it had laundry facilities so make sure you pack enough clothes. Restaurant at the resort next door came in handy and was excellent.
“Great visit!”
We had a wonderful, although brief, visit in Maui. We stayed at this property for 3 days in March. It was well maintained, kitchen was well-appointed and we had no complaints. We had one maintenance issue which was addressed promptly. Staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to watch the whales right from our balcony - what a bonus!! Try to visit at this time of year and take a Whale Watching Tour from Lahaina (just minutes away).
“Paradise”
Beautiful views. Convenient location. Quiet. Hope to go back.
“Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!”
I stayed in 401. The "01" and 02" rooms are on the side of the building, so there's ocean view but not directly ocean front. I liked that. I could see the ocean, palm trees, see and here the birds, and the room didn't get hot with the afternoon sun. The 5th floor and up is above the palm trees and there is an unobstructed view of the ocean. I loved it and would stay in this facility again.
“Great place to stay”
I truly enjoyed my stay at the Kahan Beach Resort. The service was great, te relaxed atmosphere was just what I needed. I hope to go back to Hawaii and I will stay there again.
“Good value, nice location”
This was our honeymoon and looked for a hotel which is nice, but also affordable. Stayed on the 8th floor in a Murphy room which we found very cool. The kitchen is well equiped, but there are several restaurants in the neighborhood as well. We would recommend this hotel for those who would like a nice and safe place but do not want to spend fortunes on it. No complaints at all, we loved the ocean view which is quite enough sometimes even better than the ocean front.
“Everything we'd hoped for!”
We arrived a bit after 5:00 pm on a Saturday evening, and there was still someone at the desk to check us in, which was a relief. We were treated kindly, and given our room keys with some brief instructions as to the location of things in the resort, etc. OUR ROOM WAS FANTASTIC!! We were given #1107, which was a studio on the front corner, with a lanai (balcony) facing the ocean, but with also a nice wide open side view. We sat out there every morning and evening; got some great pics of sea turtles and rainbows, and even saw 5 shooting stars! Everything was clean and up to date, and the pull down Murphy bed was perfectly comfortable, and we slept sweetly to the lulling sounds of the ocean, and arose with no stiffness/soreness. I remember seeing a sign about ice machines, but we never used them, so I can't remember how many or where they were located in the hotel. Every even numbered floor has a coin operated laundry and we made use of those a few times during our 8-day stay. Laundry soap is provided for free, as are your toiletries, and a couple of filter packs of some awesome Hawaiian coffee for brewing in your room. (You can buy additional packs of the coffee at the front desk.) We had no problem getting linens, bath, and beach towels from the front desk during the daytime whenever we wanted them. The beach was great, and we made use of the pool, too. Make sure to visit Betty's Cafe in Lahaina, and the RB Steakhouse there in Kahana--both are very good!!
“Maui's Best”
The most beautiful view I could have ever imagined. We stayed on the twelth floor and could very clearly see the beautiful beach from our balcony. The activities director was so friendly and helpful. The full kitchen in our room was wonderful. It was such a great experience at this hotel that I didn't want it to end. We can't wait to go back and stay there again.
