“Extemely happy with Hotel Wailea”
Hotel Wailea was absolutely beautiful from the manicured lush grounds, to the beautiful clean rooms, to the gorgeous views from our lanai. We thought the staff were friendly and in some cases went out of their way to be helpful. For instance the young men at the Valet stand took it upon there selves to hose of our car after we returned from a day of fun with our car covered in salt water spray, and the ladies who cleaned our room washed out our used coffee mugs that we bought as souvenirs everyday. In addition to the hotel we thought the Wailea area of Maui was the most beautiful and best located for exploring the island. When we go back we will definitely stay at hotel Wailea again. Very beautiful hotel for such a reasonable price.
“Made our Vacation”
Staying at the Hotel Wailea was incredible. We initially booked the hotel under the assumption that we wouldn't be spending much time there, other than sleeping. We were dead wrong. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We ended up spending at least an hour at the pool every day. Plus the hotel is very small, so it had a rather intimate atmosphere. We liked that there weren't too many families with loud kids. It was amazing.
“Lovely, quiet Maui hotel”
This is a lovely, quiet hotel in Wailea. It is two blocks off the beach but does have its own beach area. The grounds have beautiful waterfalls and koi ponds; we sat on our balcony overlooking the ponds and watched egrets land and wade. Our well-appointed suite consisted of a living area, dining area, and kitchen area and a separate bedroom. Very spacious; the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was a little sparse for people who are big breakfast eaters. There is not much for young children to do at this hotel. Overall we loved this hotel and would return again.
“Good Find”
This was a nice little find for the Wailea area. Clean, spacious, extremely comfortable king size bed. Our garden view had a beautiful lily pond with koi and ducks right off the patio. Waterfalls and hawaiian plants throughout the grounds.
“I wish I could return right away and stay longer”
The hotel was better than expected. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The staff was extremely helpful and I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. I had a great time.
“Nice for Families . .”
The suite was really nice for our small family. The kitchen was a bit under-equipped but the refrigerator was useful. The hotel served a yummy continental breakfast each morning. The staff were always helpful and pleasant. The pool and grounds of the hotel are exceptionally beautiful. Overall, a wonderful experience.
“Fantastic hotel and great value”
I searched all areas of Maui for a hotel and decided on this one because I had heard Wailea was very nice and since we rented a car we could drive anywhere else. I liked this hotel because it felt a little more luxurious but wasn't outrageous in price. We didn't mind not being right on the beach as we could see the ocean from the hotel and the Hotel Wailea provides shuttle service and beach access/amenties which was perfect. It was nice and quiet, had a good pool that was serene and comfortable, not buzzing with tons of people. The cabanas around the pool made it even better. We also took advantage of all the hotel amenities to make the daily fee worth our while, including the parking, wifi in room, free continental breakfast, beach access, spa amentities and a yoga class. I really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely do it again. I also liked that the room had a small kitchenette. Although we didn't use the cooktop, we bought some snacks & alcohol. and stocked it in our room and used the fridge which cut down on some costs. Unless I plan to stay in Maui for an extended stay like 2 weeks or something, I would go back to this hotel. We got to stay in the lap of luxury and were so close to great snorkeling and the town of Kihei as well as the shops and golf courses at Wailea that made it amazing. Although the rooms are a bit older, they did a nice job of updating certain aspects and it was great. Super comfortable bed too!
“Relaxing quiet atmosphere”
My mom and I stayed at the Hotel Wailea for a week and could not be happier with our choice in accommodations. We had continental breakfast daily, a clean room, gorgeous views from the lobby and our room, and overall were able to enjoy a peaceful and stress free vacation. The location of the hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the resorty hotels, but they offer shuttle service to the beach. The pool was relaxing and the staff was fantastic. I would definitely recommend Hotel Wailea.
“Very impressed”
The hotel is not at the beach but atop a hill so from there you can see the ocean. Friendly staff, loved the hibiscus flowers all over the hotel on the grounds, staircases etc. Good breakfast with plenty of food, fresh coffee or tea and fruit. I would recommend this hotel for anybody that doesn't mind to drive. Great for couples that like it quite! The room was spacious and the balcony was also wonderful to have.
“Exceptional”
The staff were friendly, the accommodations were beautiful, the location was perfect - and a free shuttle throughout Wailea is included. The hotel was at 90% capacity but we still felt like we were the only people there. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!
