Staff is outstanding!

Posted 5-Jul-2014
The hotel is under renovation so they have gone out of their way to provide alternative accommodations. Such as beach access at the Grand Wailea' swimming pool usage at The Fairmont, and massage specials at the Grand Wailea. We were extremely pleased with our stay.

Renovated suite was beautiful

Posted 3-Jul-2014
Pros: We loved the renovation. It looks great! We mostly love the kitchen and the bathroom.
Cons: The bathroom can definitely be improved. It smelled like the sewer.
Location: It's pretty close to some local shops, but not walking distances in my perspective. Eating-monkeypod is delicious!
We stayed at hotel wailea for 2 nights and the newly renovated suite was outstanding! We loved the lanai. We traveled with our 16 month old daughter so it was important to us that we had a suite and that worked out great when she needed to nap. Our room was pretty far from the lobby, so it was pretty quiet, even with all the constructions going on because they are still renovating their hotel and pool. It had a Kitchen, full refrigerator, microwave, and more. The bathroom was gorgeous! Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, however, smelled like the sewer, so we kept the bathroom door closed at all times. Staffing-all very friendly and kind. Very prompt with their services and gave us rides to our hotel room because it was so far from the lobby and parking. We called for crib set up and they set it up very quickly. We went to maui for our wedding, so we were also greeted with champagne which was very nice! Cons-we didn't get to enjoy any of the amenities because they were renovating their pool and other rooms, but we were given vouchers to use the pool at the fairmont hotel and we did go there. The pool at hotel fairmont wAs very lovely, but we would still much rather enjoy the pool at our hotel instead.

Awesome, beautiful and very friendly

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. My boyfriend and I have no negative things to say, even when though the pool was/is under renovations they still had pre planned with another hotel and their pool use. We love the Wailea Hotel and would definitely come back and stay again! So beautiful and clean!

Stunning view

Posted 18-Jun-2014
Pros: Our renovated room was top notch. The layout was excellent and comfortable.
Cons: The pool was being renovated so that was a major drawback. They took us to nearby Kealani to swim so that was fine.
Location: There is a first class restaurant in the hotel which was lovely.
The hotel is not on the beach, but the view is gorgeous, especially great at sunset. If you want to go to the beach they will take you there with umbrellas, etc. and not that far to walk either.

Almost a perfect experience

Check in was flawless and the front desk lady was really nice and friendly, check out however was a bit of let down, the girl at front desk probably wasn't in a good mood but it could have been more professional. Overall a good stay and nice view (you will be impressed) from the room.

This hotel has the best staff ever. We stayed in the partial view room, but still nice view and very pretty settings. I would love to come back to this hotel again.

Great, quiet hotel - romantic

Posted 25-May-2014
This was our second time at hotel Wailea and it was very nice! The grounds are beautiful and overall it's a nice quiet place to stay. The pool and spa are under renovation, which wasn't ideal but we knew that going in. The new renovated rooms are very nice, my only complaint would be that our room did not have a cook top... The other rooms used to and there is everything else there to cook and eat with but then there is just a microwave.... That was a bit disappointing but we were in Maui for a wedding and didn't need to cook much, therefore didn't bother to make a big deal about it - I would just maybe ask if you are booking and that is important to you. The biscuits provided at breakfast were amazing!!! And capische is one of my favourite restaurants I've ever been to!

Intimate and relaxing

Pros: Everything and can't wait until pool and spa is finished! Loved the fact we spent all of our time in Wailea but accommodated our outside requests.
