“Would stay again in a heartbeat!!”
Was a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect--from the condo to the view -- to the folks that were so very helpful at the condo--just perfect. Wish we were still there.
“Cannot wait to return”
If you want a quiet, restful and relaxing stay go here. The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, close to restaurants, shopping and any attractions. What a fabulous view. The people we met on the grass or beach were so friendly. The snorkeling in front of or along the rocks was wonderful. Able to view one of the local sea turtles. We missed Hale Pau Hana the moment we left. Plan on returning ASAP.
“great place to stay”
Great place to stay, right on the beach, beach was not crowded, perfect location to everything. we would absolutely stay here again.
“Lookinfg Forward to Returning Next Year”
Excellent location - right on the beach. Condo good location for visitors who are looking for peace and quiet. Great views of the ocean from each condo. Good mix of lawn and sandy beach available to all guests. There is no daily maid service. Fresh towels delivered every other day. Condo cleaned once a week. Friendly staff who will help you when needed.
“Feels like Home in Paradise!”
Condo-style hotel, fridge, full kitchen w/ appliances, everything you need to feel right at home in paradise. Every unit has a breathtaking view of their private beach. White sand beach w/ sky blue ocean, we loved it! Skip the fancier hotels with less sq ft and accom. Kihei is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the island, almost impossible to get lost going to and from, it is also perfect to just relax & even cook your own meals. Feels like a beach house! We will only stay Hale Pau Hana when we return!
“Great Place to Stay!”
Great location! Great view! Staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and had all of the equipment to prepare meals. The only problem(and it was actually minor) was that the bedroom was the only room with air conditioning--but we knew that before we booked it. Normally this wouldn't be a problem in Maui, but it did get warm during the afternoons before sundown. With that said, as I said, this was a minor issue and really didn't detract from the overall stay. We would stay there again!!!
“"wish we were still there".”
Beautiful place to go and relax, very clean and very close to the beach . Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definetley go back to the Hale Pau Hana again, and would reccomend it to everybody.
“Great Place in the Heart of Kihei”
We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very nice...not brand new but well taken care of. It is right on a beautiful beach so we could hear the waves crashing...only 100 feet from our place. There is street noise on the bedroom side but if you want to stay in Kihei proper, and beachfront you have to deal with that.
“Great Place!”
Hale Pau Hana is almost perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location offers great ocean views from every unit, the grounds a beautifully maintained and the immediate area has a lot to offer in regards to beaches and restaurants. I only had one minor issue. My stay was split between 2 units because at the time of my stay they did not have an open unit for the entire length of my stay. Having to move from one unit to another during my stay was not a big deal. The difference between the two units was a big surprise. (the cost of both units were the same). My first unit (302) was very clean with basic "hawaiian style" furnishings. Nothing fancy. Everything needed was there, but styling and the furnishings were a bit dated. My second unit {204} was a designer showplace. EVERYTHING was co-ordinated and looked like it was ready for a photo shoot. Even the dishes and silverware were co-ordinated with the furniture. This unit was NICE. I was told by the office staff if you book direct, you can select from pictures on line the unit you would like to have. After staying in two totally different units, that is what I will do when I return to Hale Pau Hana. Like I already said, the first unit was ok, but the second was in a whole other class. Also, if you are seeking some peace and quite, this place has it. This is not the place for the "party crowd". Most quest are either retired or young families, at least during my November stay.
“Heaven in Hawaii”
The Hale Pau Hana was phenomenal. It had a great spot on the beach. It was set up with anything a person might need- not that much time was spent in the condo with so much to do in the water close by. The ocean view from the Lanai couldn't be beat. It was a wonderful spot to kickback after a busy day surfing, snorkeling, exploring. I will recommend it to anyone who is going to Maui!
