“The best in Maui, in my opinion!”
We were there for a few days for our honeymoon, the locals we spoke to said it was the best resort in Maui and we agree! Our friend highly recommended it so we stayed there. The only set back, very pricey (but thats typical for a really nice hotel), as far as food and snacks. So stock up outside the resort if you want to save a few bucks.
“Oh so Grand!”
We stayed at the Grand Wailea hotel on our honeymoon in April 2010. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We were warmly greeted with a real flower lei and checked into our room quickly. At the time of reservation, we had requested an empty refrigerator be in the room (for snacks, beer, etc) and it was there. The our room was in a great location on the property (4th floor, Molokini tower), we were close to the parking garage, shops, cafes and easy access to the beach & pools. The room was very spacious and clean. I was impressed by the thourough cleaning during both the daily housekeeping visit and the turndown service visit at night. Our lani (patio) overlooked beautiful gardens and koi ponds, with an ocean view to the left. The lani was our favorite place to enjoy the scenery and great weather. I cannot wait to return to the Grand Wailea!
“Amazing balance of luxury and fun”
The hotel grounds are amazing. The rooms are luxurious. The pools and slides engages both young and young-at-heart.
“Truly Paradise!”
The Grand Wailea Resort was overwhelmingly beautiful. The grounds are immaculate, with waterfalls, fountains, and tons of foilage. The pools are well kept . There is an adult pool in addition to a family pool. The beach area is easily accessible from the grounds. The staff in all areas were courteous and helpful. We were very pleased with the facility and would not hesitate to stay there again. Beach umbrellas and chairs for the beach or the pool are complementary to guests. We attended the luau that is offered by the hotel and was very pleased with the program. We used several of the restuarants at the hotel as well and were pleased with those. Anyone choosing this facility would not be disappointed. It is first class.
“Amazing”
I felt like I was 12 again. this place is unbelievable. Friendly staff, HUGE resort. Get to the pool early to claim your spots, however even on a busy labor day weekend, if anything head to the beach to get a chair, never had a problem. The water slides are great, I felt like I was back to being 15 again. although my favorite pool was the hibiscus/adult pool. Very quiet and relaxing, no screaming kids and poolside drink/menu service. I would come here again and again. Never wanted to leave the resort
“Impressive, but lots of people!”
Great, beautiful, but expensive! Not only the hotel rates, but food, drinks & activites...
“Highly Recommend This Resort”
This is a beautiful hotel resort. The grounds are lush and expansive, and the pool can't be beat. The water slides and lazy river are really neat and are a huge plus. Service and food are great. Definitely worth the money. Would definitely go back.
“A Place For Everyone!”
We just got back from stay at the Grand Wailea in Maui. My family had a wonderful time. I have two boys (7 and 5 years old). They loved the water slides and Tarzan swing. The spa is absolutely fabulous! I could have spent the whole week in there. The Terme Hydrotherapy is amazing. The staff in the hotel and spa are very friendly. Tony did my massage. He did a great job. Overall it was a wonderful trip! We plan to stay at the Grand Wailea again.
“Hawaiian Dream”
Grand Wailea was everything you can expect from a luxury trip to Hawaii. Beautifully designed and something to do for everyone. Whether it's lounging in a cabana overlooking the beach or sliding down the high speed slide, there is no shortage of activities.Even just walking around the grounds, there are waterfalls, koi ponds and even a cute wedding chapel. Not to mention, a wonderful spa and the so delicious Humuhumunukunukuapuaa Restaurant where you can have a grilled Hawaiian Spiny lobster so juicy, fresh and delicious! They even arranged a dive trip very close by where we scuba dove the Molokini Crater, saw humpback whales, turtles and reef sharks. Can't wait to go back to Paradise.
“Best Motel on Muai”
This resort is top notch. Extremely expensive, but top of the line.
