“Its Maui!!”

How can you not love a hotel that is right on the beach?? Yes the hotel is known for its small rooms but hey, how much are you in that room??? I loved it. I went by myself and had a blast. I travelled all over that island. So many snorkling places and ironically one of the best is right at the beach of The Best Western... go figure! Try out the lovely restaurant on the premises... very good service and great food! If you are looking for abit more entertainment, check out the hotel next door, they have a happy hour that is excellent. Getting up early and going to bed early in Maui is definetly what you should do there.. the unfortunate part is that not everyone else agrees.. so you might get some noise!! Enjoy and aloha!

“Nice spot for the price”

The spot is awesome right on the ocean where you can snorkel and swim. The rooms are hotel rooms are not extremly large but the spot makes up for it.

“Happy 40th to me!”

The hotel is right on an amazing beach. A short walk from my room and I was in the sand. Small rooms but all you do is sleep in the room so the most important part was the bed and it was extremely comfortable. I am going back in March and will stay again. Also the restaurant next door is amazing.

“Love Love Love It!”

We absolutely love this hotel. It is right on the best beach in Maui - Keawakapu Beach. The rooms are small but who spends much time in there room except to sleep while in Maui? Certainly not us. This was our second visit to this hotel and we plan to stay there again. Clean, inexpensive hotel to stay at.

“Little Gem”

We just returned from our second stay and it is still a perfect spot for us. Some of the island's best snorkling is from this very beach in our own front yard. Convinient to other beaches as well. Rooms are "cozy" but we only were in our room to sleep and shower so who cares? If what you need is a home base while you enjoy the outdoor activities this is the place. Recommend without reservation as a bargain.

“Great location”

This hotel was in a perfect location to enjoy the beach & not too far from the stores for shopping& sightseeing. The room was comfortable with a queen size bed, but tight for a large family. It had a fridge, microwave & coffee pot for breakfast, which saved you from always eating out.

“Awesome trip, great view from suite, nice beach: A-”

The second suite from the beach is awesome, the patio extends far enough to be able to see the entire ocean and 2 islands. Employee's are very nice, but the cleaning ladies cannot really speak English even alittle. The room is cozy, beds comfortable, bathroom roomy and almost everything is clean. I'm not happy with the fabric on the patio, because it made your bare feet so dirty you tracked it all over the ceramic floor. Outdoor showers close, general store close, road close, beach close, INCREDIBLE restaurant right next door, many shops within 1 mile. Flowers beautiful, view is amazing and noise is minimal. A computer in the lobby, pamphlets + maps in lobby, HBO-Showtime-Cinemax + other good channels on TV, but only Ted Turners blog CNN for news. There is no room service, but the general store has everything that you need - breakfast, lunch, dinner, smokes, lotions, etc. Maui has so many activities to do, but everything is alittle pricy /w a very liberal tax code and tons of extra fee's. Maui Oceanfront is surrounded by beach, a hotel on one side and residential mansions that will make you jealous on another. Palm trees everywhere, exotic birds, lizards, insects and plants. Mostly tourists - mostly older folks, newly-weds on their honeymoon or 26+ couples and friends. Airport is about 30 minutes away, and costs about 50 bucks in a taxi cab 1 way.
