“Great Value, Clean & Friendly staff!”

Wow!...what a Gem to find a great priced Hotel, right on an Awesome swimming & kid friendly beach- with the Softest Sand! Clean rooms, attentitive staff, plus Sarento's Restaurant was Amazing! Carafe of Starbucks Coffee for two, sitting Beachfront : - ) They're food is 4 star & service attentitive-decent prices. The rooms are nice with vanity seat area, mini fridge, comfy beds (Tempurpedic). Wifi in Lobby- I will definitely recommend this Kihei Hotel to in town guests, as we are moving to Maui. Up the street is little Deli and there are Beach Access walking trails. Wailea is 1.5 mi. up Rd.

“ok, but not what i expected from expedia listing.”

Ffood credit and free wireless. Food credit wasn't a credit but a 10% off at restaurant. Expedia listed free wirless. Wireless was only in hotel lobby, not in room. Rooms very small...I would try to find a vacation rental next time.

“More than the rating suggests!”

We booked the Days Inn as part of a package and was more than a little worried at some of the comments posted and the rating. Boy, were we surprised. The hotel staff couldn't have been friendlier, the grounds were well maintained and the rooms were clean. I have read some posts that indicated the rooms were too small. Thankfully I had theoportunity to visit a friend staying at a much tonier hotel and their room was the same size! So much for perspective. There is direct access to the beach, a restaurant on the grounds and no hidden costs. The only drawback (which was not an issue for me because my Verizon hot spot worked as well as it does state side) was the only internet access is in the hotel lobby. But, I saw people utilizing it and they seemed satisfied. Planning a trip to Maui? Think long and hard about spending a lot of money on a room and then choose the Days Inn. Trust me, there are a lot of other things on the island to part you with your hard earned cash.

“Okay for a quick trip”

Great beach access! Good restaurant on site. But rooms small and cramped, Adjoining room separated by an unsoundproof door. Someone coughing next door sounded as if it was in the same room. But hotel staff friendly and caring and we had a good stay as fortunately our neighbors were quiet.

“"Hidden Little Gem"”

Maui is expensive, so staying at the days inn allowed us to save money! The beds are beyond cozy and the staff is extremely helpful. The surrounding area is very nice and you are footsteps away from the beach!

“MAUI KIHEI”

Great location steps from the beach, shops and dinning at walking distance beautiful beach for snorkeling swimming or doing water sports. Standard rooms very small, remanded me of a stateroom on a cruise ship small bathroom and small shower overall cleaned A/C very loud. Parking is free but limited specially at night when patrons come to the restaurant be sure to get the insurance on your rental car because it will get a ding on the door, parking spaces are very small and hard to get in and out of the car. Hotel staff very nice and friendly, wireless internet only in the lobby there is also a hard wired computer for guests that you may use. Overall for me a great location that you cant find anywhere else in Maui for the money, if you have children I would suggest not a good place since rooms are small but great for couples. Lots of smoking guests on the beach. Rooms are not smoking

“WHAT A GREAT STAY!”

I found the Day's Inn in Maui to be a very enjoyable experience! The room was very comfortable, the hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating; and the beach was just a few steps away from your door. I would recommend asking for the rooms that overlook the beach (there are only two), but the closeness of the hotel to the water was a definite positive. The parking was tight (but free) and there is an additional lot to park in (gravel). I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Maui.

“Decent place”

Just don't expect too much. The service is great but the upkeep of this hotel is lack of. To make that up, it is only a short walk to the beach and I can spend the the late night hours sitting on the sand listening to the waves from a few feet away. The big fancy mall is around the corner and very nice snorkeling beaches are 5-10 minutes away. The neighborhood is quiet and I don't see too much traffic, but food aren't too far away with 1-2 minutes drive. As for those who previously complains about parking, I disagree. There are one small parking lot, which most peeps like to cramp their car into, and a big parking lot on the other side which are spacious and should be able to accommodate guesses and more.
