“Simple, convenient - what we'd hoped for”
We've stayed at pricier upscale places in the past. This time we thought we'd like a simple place to sleep, shower, wash clothes, with the ability to cook breakfast and occasional lunch, without breaking the bank. We got what we wanted. Very clean with basic amenities. Close by several good restaurants. In building D so we were away from noise of the beach-front street. After-hours check in was simple - had to officially check in the next day a few miles up the road but it was fast and easy. Beach chairs, towels provided which was nice. No complaints - don't expect pampering like some of the higher priced hotels, but a safe bet for the price conscious.
“Great condo resort”
This was my first time staying at the condo resort. It was the first time for my boyfriend too. We loved the amount of space we had, the kitchen with everything we'd need, washer/dryers, etc. The location is good. Overall we loved Kihei Akahi!

“Very good location, convenient, everything you need is in the condo”
We really liked the location of the complex. The kitchen has everything you need. Even oil, salt, pepper and some other spices. Beach chairs, snorkeling stuff, beach towels, reading books, everything you need for a good beach vacation is provided. Ocean view from every room: we had meals outside in the balcony every day. Birds singing at 6 am , beautiful way to weak up. They have great grounds. Location is the best: just across the street from the ocean, close to shops too. Kihei South seems to be the best location on the whole island.

Much better than expected!! Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful beach directly across the street. Alot of unexpected extras like snorkle gear, boogie boards and beach towels for two in the closets, ..full kitchen and appliances w/ kitchen island, washer&dryer, clean/comfy bed, plenty of plates and silverware, clean refrigerator, extra linens, bathtowels, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, etc...we just bought a few groceries for the week and that's it!! Definitely coming back!!
“CRH Kihei-Akahi Maui 2011”
The Kihei-Akahi had a wonderful condo for us to stay in. It was a rather sizable studio with a window A/C, washer/dryer and nicely equipped kitchen. We had plenty of kitchenware and utensils (knives, forks, spoons, pots, pans, etc...) to make dinner. The grounds were immaculate and the two offices we dealt with (Kihei-Akahi office to get car registration and CRH office for hotel registration) were staffed with helpful and kind people. It is across the street from the Kamaole Beach II, which is a wonderful beach with good snorkeling on each side and great to boogie board in the late morning/afternoon. We had a wonderful trip made even better by our wonderful condo.

Best condo for the price the location was excellent ! It had everything we needed and more. The complex was very well taken care of. We will definately be going back next year !
“Everything you need”
Great facility for the money, with perfect location, close to everything. The condo had everything I needed, even a large proper tea pot for us, tea drinkers! Thank you. Just couple of suggestions: 1. trash was in the bathroom when I arrived 2. bed matrass could be better. 3. this one is about policies of the entire complex: When people smoked in the unit underneath, the smoke instantly filled my room. No real windows but panels and they let smoke in easily. Impossible to escape. I had to leave the room at night for some 15 minutes, when the neighbors smoked - that was not fun. I wish that the condo owners would come up with some smoking policy to restrict it to certain areas only and ban smoking in the balconies of the units. That would help those sensitive to smoke and all the others too. Nobody needs to inhale second hand smoke while inside their rooms.
