“We will stay here again, when we go back.”

The towels were so fluffy, I couldn't even close my suitcase! Our room and the service was great. Behind this hotel is some of the best beach seen on Maui. My only wish was to have a better gym on the complex.

“Would definitely return”

Recently returned, 2-12-06, stayed in unit 234 (garden view) in the Banyan bldg. Unit was clean and well equipped. housekeeping was great as was the staff at the front desk. Grounds were well landscaped, and beach great for swimming and snorkling.Took full advantage of kitchen, with several supermarkets within minutes of apt. Preffered safeway.Excursions can be booked at hotel lobby, both girls booking excursions were very knowledable and helpful.

“Quiet, comfortable, great beach, and near all amenities”

This hotel is on a great stretch of quite beach, near Whaler's village and a short drive from Lahaina town. It is quiet, comfortable, and well kept. Great snorkelling down the beach at the nearby point. There are two well kept pools, spa, and beach side restaurant.

“Great place, especially for the money”

Although the hotel is not rated as highly as its neighbors, it was less crowded and quieter. Each villa is privately owned so each is a bit different. The beach front was much, much less crowded than the other side of Black Rock. There were not nearly as many children, which was nice for me and my wife, as we were married during the trip.

“Had a great time!”

The room had everything we needed - coffeemaker, microwave, fridge, stove, dishes, etc. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very spacious. The pools and hot tubs were clean and enjoyable. The beach was just a short walk away. The poolside "bar" was convenient, and we had a great plate of nachos before dinner. All in all our stay was extremely pleasurable.

“Pleasant suprise”

For the first time I stayed in a hotel that was much nicer in reality then on pictures. The room was big and the bathroom was huge. Staff was very friendly and accomadating. We were very suprised with the quality of food at the Castaway Cafe. You can watch the sunset over the ocean while eating dinner. The grounds are very well maintained. The beach felt private because there weren't a lot of people on it, not like the beach near the Black Rock which is crowded with people. We would definitely stay there again!

“Perfect for a Family Reunion”

We were so pleased with our stay at the Villas. We mentioned it was my wife's birthday and they upgraded us to a suite, complete with complimentary champagne, chocolates and a little gift! They really made us feel pampered! It was so nice to stay in a smaller, quaint place and avoid the larger, impersonal high rise Hotel chain. The kitchenettte was also a nice addition since we were staying for a week. Thank you so much and we look forward to our return! Mahola!

“A great place to stay with little kids”

We loved Kaanapali Villas! We have two kids under 7 and it was the perfect spot. We had a one bedroom garden view and the extra space was a big plus for us. The room was wonderful with a very nice bathroom(shower no tub) and a great kitchen for lunches and snacks to take to the beach and pool. Parking on site is a snap and the drive to Lahaina is so easy. The pool is very kid friendly--it was our favorite spot. The beach is very accessible and we didn't rent anything; other people checking out shared wake boards and beach chairs with us so we were set. One thing-Kaanapali beach has a wicked shore break so go to the beach in the morning, its much calmer.
