“Maui Hill”
This condo was superbly appointed. The kitchen altho small had all of the utensils needed. The lanai and pool was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Four old fellows decided to go to Hawaii to golf and this seemed like a good deal. We had a great time and have already recommended to several of our friends back home. The only negative was the noisy air conditioners in the bedroom.
“Very impressed”
It is a very well maintained established. Hotel staff is extremely customer focussed. They went out of their way to ensure that we had a very comfortable stay. The hotel is close to one of the best beaches in Kehei.
“Maui's Best Choice Hotel!”
I booked our June 8th-15th, 2009 trip based on the Expedia pictures and reviews. Our expectations were exceeded! The pool, pool area and hot tub were fabulous. We stayed in a condo, but the rooms were cleaned daily like a hotel. We chose the garden view and were pleasantly surprised to see both the ocean and mountains from our lanai. Maui Hill is not right on the beach, but it doesn't need to be. There are a number of beaches along the main drag less than a mile away. They were too far for walking. The Expedia booking agent was very helpful from activities to dining possibilities. We would definitely stay at Maui Hill in the future! Thanks for making it so enjoyable.
“It was wonderful!!!”
The pictures online do the rooms no justice...it is much bigger and prettier in person! I was shocked at the size of our ocean view room which could have easily fit another 4 people besides the two of us that went. The balcony was very spaceous and the staff was extremely friendly. I would definitly recommened this place to anyone going to Maui and wanting the best Khiei has to offer. The location itself was very close to all other cities and locations that we visited. I am very satisfied with our choice.
“Very nice resort hotel, the only drawback is the high price.”
Roomy & clean, close to main attraction.
“We'll be back”
The staff was knowledgeable and helpful with any questions we had. Our morning orientation was informative Donela gave a very detailed presentation making our activities a smooth sail. (The continental breakfast was not very satisfying).
“Home away from home”
We really enjoyed staying at Maui Hill Oct 6-12th 2007. Have stayed at 2 other condominiums in the Kihei area, and enjoyed Maui Hill the most. The rooms are quite spacious and decorated in island decor. Some have great views, ours did not, but we could always go to the pool area to enjoy the views there. The maid service came daily to replace towels and take out trash. The front desk was very helpful and courteous. What we liked most was the relaxed feeling at this resort.
“Home away from home!”
We were so pleased with our condo. The kitchen was very complete with great kitchen tools, dishes and pots. The washer and dryer were new and very good (although small), the bathrooms were more than sufficient. It is a "crowded" condominium place with a lot of condos. But, you didn't have to see the people. The pool and hottub were great and our children loved them. The hot tub was kind of "dirty", but usable. The staff were delightful and helpful at all times. The beaches were a drive away, but not a long drive and easy to do for an hour at the beach. If we return to Maui, we will stay at the Maui Hill!
“As good as they said it would be.”
The Auston Maui Hill is a large, condo complex located on the uphill side off S. Kihei Rd. They condos are not new, but are well kept, as are the grounds. Our two bedroom condo (actually a three bedroom but the third bedroom was locked and we were charged for two only), was very clean and extremely spactious. The master bedroom was roomier than our own house! True, the bathroom and kitchen were cramped, which is puzzling as there is plenty of room in the bedrooms so why design the bathroom so small? Hm m m . Anyway, we were very comfortable there and though we didn't have a view of the ocean, it didn't matter. Never needed the air conditioning as the breezes blow through nicely. Birds can get noisy in the am, but what can you do? We were far enough off the road that there was NO road noise, which cannot be sais for MANY of the other Kihei condo groups. Very nice desk and service people. Don't forget to tip the housemaids. They don't make much and work harder than most waitresses. P. S. The beds were not too soft and I am very picky about that sort of thing. I would recommend the Maui Hill any day.
“"Maui Hill a Must Stay; can't wait to go back"”
Maui Hill is a very beautiful property and the condos are impeccable. We had a dream holiday at Maui Hill. You can walk to one of Maui's most scenic beaches across the road and the sunsets are spectacular here. From this beach you can see the southern volcano and Molikini. The beach is covered with huge palm trees and tiki lights at night. We highly recommend it and hope to return to Maui Hill again!
