Accommodation can be expensive in Hawaii, but this was good value for money compared to the competition. The reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The lady let us check in a couple hours early. There was an orientation light breakfast the next morning, which was good to hear about the area and a few prizes for activities were given away. The room was a good size with two queen beds, that were very comfortable. Good linen, towels, amenities and coffee maker with coffee in room, that you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The gym was a good size with good equipment and weights. The pool looked nice with a bar area, but we preferred to go to the beautiful beach across the road.
What a view! What a suite! 411 is where we stayed and if we could get that room again, we will! The suite was renovated recently (or at least it looked like it) and was immaculate. Our kitchen, bathroom and all furniture was modern and my style. The day after we checked in, the staff brought us half of a cut up pineapple. It was delicious and what a thoughtful welcoming gift. When we come back, we are staying here for sure.
We stayed for a week in Nov 2014 for an anniversary celebratation. After an usually busy and stressful year, we really wanted a relaxing vacation, so we asked for a quiet room. They gave us a great one bedroom suite on the north side, away from all the activity around the pools. We enjoyed having a clean and modern kitchen and a spacious lanai to eat in when we felt like it, but also appreciated being able to walk to Dukes, the restaurant on property. We hope they keep adding amenities - a second restaurant or cafe would be good for busy times.
Very well appointed condo with a lot of thought put into it. Like the photo-coffee table book to show guests where to swim, or buy food etc. Unusually well appointed, organized, and maintained. To improve: the adjoining condo had two loud kids up early, and we could hear them easily. Otherwise, no issues.
Good location, but no view and you need a car. No place really to walk along the beach.
The location of this facility is perfect. It's a short 30 second walk across the grounds to the bordering ocean, but with plenty of shaded grass to sit on if you don't like the beach.
The Castaway Cafe is a real plus as the food is great and it's so very convenient.
Several pools for the kids or a getaway for the adults.
All-in-all I think it is my favorite spot on Maui.
Our one bedroom unit was our "home away from home" for two weeks. It was very spacious, nicely furnished and the kitchen was well enough equipped to prepare many meals in.
Officially we had a garden view but the view of the ocean filtered by palm trees was very nice.
Daily towel service and light housekeeping was great.
We would stay again!
