“Nightmare to find - paradise to arrive”

You have the address of Tenuta Montecorbo as via Montecorbo - this would only be correct if arriving on foot or by back mule as it is a very narrow and high stone-walled farm track through the olive and lemon terraces. I simultaneously scraped both folded-back wing mirrors on these roads trying to find Montecorbo in this Minotaur- like stone maze. The correct address is Via del Generale - itself quite a challenging drive of about 2 kilometres and about 5 hairpin bends up from the main road out of Sorrento. The staff were kind and helpful when pressed, though sometimes Ill-informed - eg we were given wrong instructions on getting the bus to Amalfi. But the rooms and facilities are first class, and once there, the location with views to Capri are unbeatable
