Everything was great except for the breakfast. That was not the best, the only thing the kids had was pancakes. They like the machine that makes them.

This property is located next to an Applebee's so that was a bonus. The room was clean and fresh. Staff friendly and helpful. There is a Fleet Farm and a Target nearby. Over all I enjoyed staying here.

For the price, it was a comfortable stay. I'm glad that the nonsmoking rooms actually dont smell like smoke.

They had one job.
Checkin was friendly and efficient. The only thing we were looking for was clean beds on an overnight trip. One of the beds had debris in it and obviously used pillow cases. Strangely it was all tucked in and tidy. We demanded clean linens and due to timing, remade the bed ourselves. In the morning the manager offered a discount the next time we stay there. Zero chance we will be back

This is my go to place to stay when I go to Mason City. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It just helps to make my stay feel more like home.

We have stayed at this Super 8 several times before with always having had a positive experience. This time was different. When we opened up the doors to the 2 rooms we had reserved, both rooms had a very unpleasant odor to them. I was embarrassed to have our family visiting from California stay here. We had hoped to grab some muffins/bagels for breakfast because we were leaving early in the morning. Breakfast was very meager. We ended up needing to stop elsewhere for a quick breakfast. Very disappointing.

The staff are great and extremely helpful. The down side is that there were stock car races at the nearby fair grounds and the continuous fan button wasn’t working so it was very noisy. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable.

Stayed 4 nights. Room on 3rd floor. Brocken elevator 4 out of 2 1/2 days. Older man, Had shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago. 4 flights of stairs were difficult to go up and down. Room itself had dirty walls in bedroom and bathroom. Broken desk chair was at lowest height. Hard to get in and out of. Breakfast was mostly Reheated food.

No bath mat, reserved a room for 3 people and they only gave us 2 towels, never brought up a 3rd towel after we asked. The towels we had smelled like smoke, even in a non smoking room. Elevator was broken, sink faucet leaked so bad we couldn’t keep anything on the counter, toilet handle was broken. Carpet was disgusting. Stayed 3 nights, house keeping never stopped in to empty trash or change towels. Staff was pleasant.
