“Quiet and Comfortable”
Very nice and quiet. Walking distance to downtown. Excellent Saturday evening dinner, both food and service.
“A good hotel in Fort-de-France”
The Squash Hotel, a fairly large establishment, is located outside the centre of Fort-de-France, barely within walking distance. The shortest route from city centre to the hotel passes through a small slum, which may feel somewhat uncomfortable to walk through. However, the hotel was pleasant, and the room was spacious and comfortable, and had a good adjustable air conditioning system. The breakfast, with fresh fruit, croissants and other pastries, was delicious. The hotel has a swimming pool, too, located next to the bar. Though I did not consider the room cheap, I found the hotel good value for the money. I do recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Martinique.

Bon hôtel, personnel très sympathique, vue magnifique sur la baie de Fort de France, position centrale pour visiteur avec une voiture. A déconseiller pour amateur de plage et pour piéton, l'environnement est pour le moins déplaisant , et certainement pas très sécurisant

Personnel tres aimable Proprete, Confort correspondant bien a la categorie 3 etoiles. Ce n'est apparamment pas un hotel pour les vacances, donc O.K. Cela correspondait a ma recherche, une etape d'une nuit.

L'accueil est tres bien et les chambres sont agreables. Le petit dejeuner et le diner au restaurant de l'hotel sont vraiment delicieux, grace a des plats locaux! Succulent!!

“Karibea Squash an average business hotel”
The Karibea Squash is a 10 minute walk to Fort-de-France, overlooking the ocean about 5 blocks up from the shoreline. We were expecting a room with a kitchenette, we arrived and learned that they only had one such room. So the pictures on the web do not reflect the actual rooms. The included breakfast is quite good, including fresh fruit, cereals, buns, croissants, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh juices. However all other meals are mediocre. Walk to town for better food in the same price range. The pool is gated in where you can fit 3 lounge chairs back to back on one side and seating space and legs dangling in the water on the other. It's an ok size pool but not one to lounge around. It was perfect for our 2 night stay awaiting our flight after our real trip. I wouldn't stay there longer. The Karibea Squash is perfect for business dealings, or those wanting to explore Fort-de-France for a day but it is not a resort type hotel or even one with the nice lounge area around the pool. You are only alloud to sit at the bar or right by the pool. The outdoor shaded part of the patio with tables and chairs are off limits even when the restaurant is closed and yes someone will check on you. I would rate this hotel as a 2.5 star in general terms and 1 star if I compare it to a 5 star Sheraton Hotel.

Kcock-roachs in and arround the pool and under my table in the restaurant. Poor quality of the food (Dinner). Breakfast turned out not to be included.
