The apartment was tired. We moved from the first one as the central heating wasn't working, a must in January. They were both the same, in need of a lot of basic maintenance.Things like re-hanging the curtains, making sure the toilet seats are fixed properly, rug in the lounge needed a good beating. Coffee table in the lounge had a lot of carving which was full of food crumbs etc, really off-putting. Only one bedside lamp in two of the double bedrooms, not enough glasses, no plug in the kitchen sink, dustpan, but no brush. All of this is so easy to put right. The rooms are very dark, even when the blinds are open, not easy to put your make up on!! On the plus side I didn't see one creepy crawly, the beds were comfortable, the TV had lots of channels, if that is your thing. Pool area is nice, although we couldn't find where to get pool towels, so not sure if they were provided, and nowhere to change. Loungers didn't have cushions. Didn't eat in the restaurant. Local shop is in walking distance, but is quite a long way, especially if you plan to purchase a lot. Apartment has fridge/freezer. Sheets/towels changed once if you stay over 4 days (I think), They will clean all rooms but not the kitchen, and you have to provide your own washing up liquid, dishcloths, t-towels etc. Water nice and hot, but will run out if you use too much in a short space of time. I hope management read this and address the issues I have mentioned as it would take much to sort things out.
