“Kenzi Menara Palace February 2012”
This was a long weekend birthday celebration. We were very pleased with the hotel. A newish building laid out around courtyards and surrounded by a garden. It's about 10 minutes from the airport (taxi c100 dirhams) and a similar distance from the old town and soukhs (taxi 60 dirhams). It's close to a modern shopping mall with a range of shops including a Carrefour supermarket also a Virgin Megastore with a good selection of Moroccan and similar CDs and there are lots of restaurants catering for a range of tastes. On the subject of food the hotel's breakfast restaurant was large, but the serving area was cramped which could be fun (!) in the high season! We also ate in the hotel's Moroccan restaurant (Saousanne) - excellent food and service enlivened by a Gnaoui musician. Probably more expensive than in town, but I felt the extra cost was offset by the saved taxi fares and excellent service in peaceful surroundings. We also hired a car and driver from the hotel (800 dirhams) for a day trip in the Atlas - up the Ourika Valley to Setti Fatma. The driver was knowledgeable and also arranged a guide at Setti Fatma (200 dirhams). The trip involved a couple for stops for local colour and the inevitable shopping opportunities (a medicinal plant garden, a Berber house and mill), but interesting and no pressure! Service in the hotel was excellent. All the staff spoke good English and were extremely friendly and helpful. If we revisit Marrakech we'd certainly stay again
“A recommander”
“Great Hotel”
Staff were amazing and really went out of their way to help. However the hotel was a bit further out of the centre than we thought it would be. It was not easy to walk to the centre and the only way to get to and from town was by taxi although this only took 5-10 mins(but taxis all overcharge as they know you need them).
Tres calme, ...
“One of Marrakech's finest hotels”
A real oasis of a hotel with staff who go out of their way to accommodate your every need. Glorious swimming pool area with comfortable beds and free towels overlooking the majestic Atlas Mountains. The airport is only a 10 - 15 minute drive away as is Jamaa al Fna plaza. The hotel has an abundance of taxis on tap as well as a guide for any trips you want to do. Treat yourselves to a fantastic hotel and a magical city. Worth every penny or dirham as the case may be.
“Tres bel hotel recent”
