“Very nice hotel”
My friend and I stayed at this hotel and could not fault it. We had a lovely room and it was very good value for money. The roof terrace is very nice with the swimming pool which we used on a few occasions to cool down. We also had lunch on the roof terrace which was good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as I preferred to stay in the new town having the option to taxi into the old town which was no more than 10 minutes away.
“Excellent hotel with excellent service.”
Stayed here for 5 days in July 2009. The hotel was of a very high standard and certainly deserves the 5* rating! The hotel was very modern but had lovely Morrocan touches throughout. Used the roof top hotel pool during the day which was very nice - the pool bar staff were lovely and cook you up a great cheese panini and chips at lunch time! The rooms were also of a high standard - clean and modern and the service was great - would certainly go back and recommend to others.
“On the whole a pleasant experience”
The hotel was on the whole a pleasant experience, the staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help you even though there was a language problem and they didn't always understand English. The room was clean and comfortable, the only main downfall was the laundry, it came back still damp, not smelling the best but the clothes were not ironed, for which they wanted extra money. Most hotels always wash and iron your clothes when you use their laundry service.
“Nice Hotel”
This hotel is excellent if you want to stay away from the daily hustle and bustle. A taxi ride will cost between 20-30 dhr into the city centre but DO NOT get a taxi from outside the hotel but from the main road, which is a 1 minute walk. Always haggle for taxi prices as the local drivers have a habit of quoting 100-150 dhrs for any taxi ride. If you do not want to get a taxi then bus 19 will get you near the city centre. Once again the staff are really friendly and helpful and the female receptionists are beautiful and always serve with a smile. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel and recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Marrakesh
“tres bon sejour”
“Good value for money”
Once in Marrakech things were good. A small taxi for the two of us from near the hotel to the old city was about a london bus fare-not bad. Hotel was pleasant enough and the food was good-just stay away from the fishy pizzas. The view on the 6th floor terrace is a must see at sunset. We booked 2 of the Expedia tours which were good value for money. Tip: keep small change on you for when you go to the bathroom as you‘ll need to tip. Take picture in the main square at your peril! They will demand money from you for the picture. Warning!! When near the taxi rank don’t listen to any guy who tries to tell you he’s in charge of the taxis and you have to go through him. Walk away from the taxi rank and hail a taxi off the street. It’s cheaper and you don’t have to go through the hassle of haggling every time you travel. But be sure to agree the price with your driver BEFORE jumping in his taxi. Taxi ranks right outside the hotel charge more than ones off the street.
