“Friendly place to stay”

A modest, beautiful hotel near the edge of Marmaris , an active seaside touristic town in southwestern coast of Turkey. The hotel has a tranquil location but many activities and noisy nightlife is only a five minutes walk away. The rooms were clean and quite comfortable (except some noise of airconditioning) and most of them has very beautiful pool and sea wiev. Staff especially at pool bar and restaurant are very friendly. There ara some families who spend their holidays at this hotel for many years. And this is also second visit to this hotel. It is easy to reach to the pool, sea and all facilities from the room, so the hotel is a good choice for older or handicapped people.

I stayed from 10th October until 17th October 2008. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the new town towards icelmer and does require a ride on the Domus (80p) into the centre The bus runs every few minutes in either direction. The room I had was situated on the 3rd floor at the rear of the hotel, with uninterupted views overlooking the bay. I would have been disappointed had i stayed in a side room. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and curteous. The areas are clean and tidy. The only drawback in my opinion was the food. A buffet service for breakfast and dinner. There was plenty of choice for breakfast plus an egg chef. The evening meal a good selection of salads and desserts but the main courses were although well cooked extremely bland. You have to provide your own beach towel and a padded cover for the sunbed has to be rented . As mentioned before the view more than compensated for the shortcomings of the food. For the price of the room it was extremely good value for money.

Hôtel les pieds dans l'eau à 1h20 de l'aéroportde dalaman. Paysages grandioses, sublimes. Calme et détente assurés dans un cadre idyllique. Nourriture de bonne qualité internationale et un peu turque mais peu variée. rythme très actif des serveurs. Assiette à peine terminée déjà retirée !!! Le personnel parle turc, anglais, un tout petit peu russe et allemand mais pas un seul ne parle le français. Service réveil téléphonique râté 2/3 fois. Il n y a aucun guide français dans la région donc pas d'excursion possible si l'on ne parle pas anglais ou russe. Dommage car la région est riche et magnifique. Système de navette pour aller en ville qui est à 3,5km mais des magasins et cafés partout si besoin. Je dirais que c'est un bon 3 étoiles mais pas un quatre. Il ne faut pas y aller en espérant des prestations de quatre étoiles mais pour la végétation qu'offre cet hôtel autour de la piscine, la terrasse et le restaurant extérieur face à une vue sublissime de la mer entourée de montagnes...
