“Attention to Detail”

From the cool refreshing towels and drinks at check in, all the employees strived hard to insure everything is ok. Very friendly staff from managers to landscape personel. Away from the crowds, this is the ideal place to relax.

“Beautiful location, superb hotel”

For a 7 night week away The Discovery at Marigot Bay was perfect. Although the bay was quiet there was just enough bar/restaurant choice and variation for 7 nights - any longer and I think we may have struggled. Every aspect of the hotel was excellent with the exception of reception which seemed to be the weak link, otherwise an ideal break. Beautiful hotel, room, food and scenery.

“Exceeded expectations!”

This hotel was brand new with beautiful rooms and spectacular service (they were running at 30% capacity or something very low and treated everyone like royalty). They took care of our every need - with speed boat shuttles to gorgeous beaches around the island, organizing scuba-diving, cabs to other events, etc. some of their add-on activities are pricey, horse-back riding was terrible - but otherwise... couldn't have been a better honeymoon. They really took care of us and we had an amazing room with a perfect view of the bay... I recommend you request a bay-view room (although expect to walk upstairs), since some of the rooms have views only of the back of the property. I feel as if it was a complete steal - this place was so much better than their rivals around the island!!!! And SO much cleaner (and has A/C)... we met a couple who switched to Discovery after arriving at their more pricey but bug-infested resort. A+++ to Discovery at Marigot Bay all around!!!

“Fantastic place to stay”

Discovery is an excellent place to stay. Friendly staff, who could not do enough for you. The hotel is extremly well maintained and the cleanliness of the rooms is superb. Free soft drinks and water in the rooms was a very nice touch. We stayed in a villa with our own plunge pool - these are not automatically assigned and you will need to call the hotel to reserve. Expect to pay London prices. Overall no complaints at all. You could not ask for a better hotel for a weeks holiday in the sun!

“Expensive but worth it.”

The Marigot Bay Hotel is beautiful and has very good staff support. Our room (#1312) had a balcony with two comfortable chairs, a table, and an excellent view of the bay as well as the larger of the two hotel pools. One thing to be aware of is that the hotel is built on a steep slope and there are no elevators. A guest with a disability will need to make sure to get a ground level room and may require assistance getting around to the pools, lobby, and restaurant. Our room was large and lovely with a canopy bed, sitting area, desk, safe, big closets, and a flat screen TV. The bathroom was large and really nicely planned. We had a large shower but no tub in our room. We ate one lunch and one dinner at the infinity pool bar and one breakfast at the restaurant. All our meals were very good. Please be aware that all dining is outdoors. The spa and gym look very nice though we did not use either so I can't review how good they are. We came to St. Lucia to spend a week sailing and booked the hotel for the night before our Moorings charter began. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we decided to spend our last night in the there instead of on the boat and asked for the same room and they were glad to accomodate us. Make sure you go to the Rainforest Hideaway for drinks and dinner. It's the best restaurant we tried on St. Lucia. Just make sure you take bug spray in case the wind dies while you're there.

“Fantastique hotel avec accueil très professionnel et chaleureux .”

L'hotel DISCOVERY réservé par le biais d'EXPEDIA nous a apporté que des plaisirs, nous avons tout d'abord été de suite surclassés et avons eu la joie de résider dans une des suites de l'hotel DISCOVERY avec cuisine,salle à manger, salon , balcon , grandes chambre et salle de douche . L'ameublement est très raffiné et surement renouvelé depuis trés peu de temps. Les petits déjeuners sont servis en buffet très varié et largement approvisionné. Les deux restaurants de l'hôtel ont de quoi satisfaire les plus exigeants . Le cadre alentour est paradisiaque, le jardin parfaitement entretenu et la baie de Marigot Bay a su conserver toute son authenticité . L'accés depuis la villa du Bon Plaisir en Martinique où nous étions auaparavant est très facile par bateau avec l'express des iles . 1h 20 minute de traversée trés agréable. L'hotel vous envoie ses taxis pour un prix très modique 30 US dollars du port à l'hotel. Pour résumer nous avons adoré !

The hotel was simply marvelous-great bedrooms, great living space and plunge pool. Views were great. restaurant superb.

“Would Stay Again...Longer!”

The rooms (suites) are really nice and very romantic...the heated plunge pool made for a relaxing end for the first night. The other accomodations, bedroom, living room, kitchen perfect for a week stay. The service of the staff was excellent, as was the food, and bar service. I would recommend it for a relaxing getaway.
