“marble Falls”
Great location. Right on lake, next door to two good restaurants, Chili's and the River city grill. We went to River city grill both nights. Good food, drinks, service. The room was very quiet. Bed was super confy, fluffy pillows etc. The rooms have been recently redecorated. The bathrooms have been redone also. New vanity with granite contertop. Very nice size for at least two people to put all there stuff. The tub and shower were redone in re-bath style, meaning plastic walls and redone tub. But it was very clean and looked OK. We did not have a river view but made drimks and went to the pool area where we could watch the activity on the river and enjoy the outdoors. The hotel is in the middle of the hill country, close to fredricksburg, the willow city loop etc. Did I mention that the Bluebonnet cafe is about a block away. The best in country cooking. One of these trips I am going to see what "Pie happy hour" is.
“Nice place for a true tourist”
This was a great getaway for a few days. My room (by request) was lakeside, which meant I could observe the lake about 20 yards away from my windows. I spent some time watching the boaters and skiers, then walked over to the dock and smelled the fresh air and listened to the waves. Hotel breakfast was good each day with a wide variety of choices, including some hot foods. Antique stores nearby, and 3 great restaurants within walking distance, including the famous Bluebonnet Cafe. I also went to one of the several local wineries. Hotel service was excellent. I asked for a brochure on things to see, and she gave me a whole packet of brochures in an envelope to take with me. Hotel people very helpful.
“"Not Impressed"”
Marble Falls, TX is a small Resort town, it has some Art Galleries and small shops for tourist, a few lakes and golf courses. This is a nice hotel on one of the lakes, nice setting, it also has some restaurants I understand, however, we did not have a chance to have dinner at the restaurants. I would certainly stay at this Hotel again if in the area.
“Best view of the Lake from Marble Falls”
We had a great experience at this hotel. We liked the location of the hotel because it was right next to a restaurant, the downtown district, and overlooked the lake. We also chose the Hampton Inn by the Lake because of the complimentary breakfast and the complimentary Internet. Hotels having these two features alone guide my choice. The complementary breakfast was above standards because they had three different types of coffee and hot foods such as waffles and eggs; along with the standard fruits, oatmeal, muffins, and cereal. One of the best things about the breakfast area was the awesome view of the lake and clean, comfortable eating areas. They could have used some more seating but if you were patient, someone would leave and you could jump over. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were also very clean and well-stocked. Also, last but not least, is the TV channel selections were numerous. I mean channel after channel. This is great when you're away from home! I've stayed at much more expensive hotels and guess what....only a few crummy channels! A word of advice to all hotels: The magic combinations are complimentary breakfast and internet, clean new rooms and carpet, and.....a bunch of channels.....! This hotel had them all....
“Fantastic retreat for our anniversary!”
We have stayed at this Hampton previously and have recommended it to family and friends. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The rooms are quiet, clean, and the beds are fantastic! A wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle!
“Best place to stay in Marble Falls”
The hotel had very clean rooms and the bed was super comfortable. The location is right on Lake LBJ so it had a pretty view and it is also right next door to 2 restaurant's which is very convenient. My only complaint is the free breakfast in the morning - it is nice they offer it but it was pretty gross. The bagels were really dry - like they were a few days old and even the warm eggs they served were gross. I didn't stay here for the breakfast so it wasn't a big deal to me at all - i got my cup of coffee so I was happy! I would stay here again!
“Marble Fallls best place to stay”
The staff was friendly, well trained, and helpfull. They suggested a place to eat that evening and even called to get the closing time. They extended our check out tiem to help us out in a time crunch. The breakfast was very good and well maintained. They have good coffee and it is surved all day.
“we will be back!”
This was the second year we had stayed here during the Christmas holidays. Enjoyed the "trail of lights" that is within walking distance of the hotel. Enjoyed "Caroling in the Caves" at Longhorn Cavern State Park. The room was very neat, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast is also nice -- lots of choices. We also liked that coffee/hot tea & fruit was available at all times.
“Great Hotel”
Excellent stay at excellent location staffed by excellent folks.
“Will stay again”
Very clean and comfortable place to stay, good location and nice neighborhood. Will stay there again.
