Amazing room size with a kitchen and clean facilities. Location was absolutely perfect and staff were incredibly lovely. If I could nit pick, I’d only say washing up liquid for the kitchen would be helpful. But other than that, 10/10 experience

Hotel is run down. Rust and mould in the bathroom. Beds are cheap and ancient with blankets rather than duvets. Rooms are very basic. The area is pretty noisy and dirty looking.

El Faro is good value in an excellent location close to the beachfront and main tourist areas including restaurants and other popular areas such as the Old Town. It is just a shame that the management of the hotel don’t see that a few small changes to the way they do things would make this hotel amazing, such as; ensure the lights in the hall ways remain on; supply washing up liquid and washing up cloth in the rooms with kitchenettes; play better music in the lobby and play it all the time; improve breakfast - set the tables; offer better array of food and don’t leave food sitting there for so long; get the marks off the walls; play great music at night when you want people to enjoy the bar… I think El Faro could be a super hotel if only the owner’s tried a little harder to make guests feel valued and changed a few things that say “we care”…
