“Average but fine for a night”
This place is a little shabby, but fine for a quick stopover in this lovely little town. My only gripe was that the room reeked of cheap chemical cleaning products. I had to spray perfume around to stop from gagging. Comfy and clean, so OK.
“Not Impressed”
We rented unit #3 which was advertised as having a kitchenette. The electric stove elements would only go to slightly warm even though the setting was on high. The cookware was completely inadequate. While making toast the smoke alarm, located almost above the cook area, would go off even before the toast started to brown.
“Spindrift”
While my review is mostly negative, I have to say that it depends on your taste and expectencies. I have two kids, one is a toddler and we went there in November. As you travel along 101, hotel stays become more than just spending the night, again for us. The inn was old, although it was modernized, you could literally smell and see its age. Wi-fi was out when we stayed there, so we couldn't plan our next day, so much for the ad-hoc traveling. The futon was broken in our room, we were given two rollaway beds. No breakfast... On top of everything, it was way too expensive compared to our other stays in much better hotel rooms.
