“Manzanillo's All Inclusive: Hotel Tesoro”
Everything was really great except for some of the service. The location is perfect because it is right on a private beach. It is a family place with entertainment geared around all ages. Good food, good drinks. Meals were buffet style and served every five hours. The waiters were all very accommodating and nice, especially one in particular. There are three different gift shops with lots to choose from and the clerks were all very nice. There are mini-fridges in each room for water bottles and other refreshments, which get restocked everyday. One of the days, our fridge had not gotten restocked and we were dehydrated all day. We notified the front desk that we needed more water in our room at three different times and it was never done until the next day. One other thing, the woman at the guest services desk was unpleasant and unhelpful.
“We would definitely stay here again.”
We stayed at Tesoro Mazanillo for six days and were very pleased with the service and amenities. There are plenty of things to do or you can just relax on the beach or patio. Food was good, everything worked in the room (we had a Junior Suite), and the view was spectacular!
“Good for the price”
Good resort for the price. The rooms were a bit outdated but clean, could upgrade the lights in the bathroom with brighter ones. Beach was real nice, clean, plenty of room, good for all ages. Food was better than I thought it would be - ate 10-15 ceviche tostadas per day. Drinks were good, so was the service. The italian dinner that required reservations was great. Not an ultra luxury hotel but still a good deal for the price.
“couldn't be better”
They have really good food and service, people are very frendly, the only thing that I would complaing will be la elevators service.
“Would go back”
We went to relax and it is a great place to do this. I don't know if this happens alot but the cove was full of pelicans (like 200) feeding there everyday. One complaint, our mattress was very hard but other guest did not have this problem.
“Heaven on earth”
This is just a wonderful hotel. The food, drinks and everything were good. The only problem was the elevators had problems Firday night and Saturday morning. For the price I would stay here again. The live show was great and they even sold CDs after the show. I will go back and I hope you will too.
“Nice”
This was our fourth time staying here and we were quite satisfied
“very good altenative, exellent cost / service reletion.”
Exellent place to stay with small children.
“Fair Value”
We are a family of four gringos living in Jalisco, Mexico. We found the resort to be kid friendly: lots for our two young boys to do. There are lots of Mexican families on the weekends. The food was nice, but not exceptional. The staff was generally courteous, but the bartenders at the pool were an exception to this: their service was slow and uninspired. The activities staff were a lot of fun: they organized beach volleyball and pool games. The evening shows were entertaining and well done. The beach sand was hauled in from a local quarry, and was therefore quite rough on the feet. No worthwhile snorkling in the area. Room service was fast. Overall, for the money spent we found the hotel to be a fair value.
“good for the week end”
Good place for a 2-3 day getaway. Pros...Beach Cove, Breakfast, View, Drinks by the pool. Cons...Gym(out of date), overeat, slow elevators. Nov. 11-13, 2005
