Property Amenities
The Grand Bay Hotel Isla Navidad has three pools and a private beach. The spa and salon offers more than 20 treatments (surcharge) in private treatment rooms. A kid's club (surcharge) provides activity programs for ages 5-12. At the concierge desk, guests can plan deep-sea fishing, horse riding, and tours throughout the region (surcharges for all).

Dining
Antonio's - The hotel's air-conditioned semi-formal restaurant features International cuisine, as well as locally inspired Mexican and seafood dishes. The air-conditioned dining room features original paintings by Patricia Jarero. Seasonal terrance dining is available. The bar offers 200 types of tequila. Open daily for dinner only.
La Plazuela - Overlooking gardens and pools, this casual restaurant serves sandwiches and light fare, for lunch only. Guests dine in a fan-cooled dining room or outside on a shaded terrace.
Grand Café - The Grand Café is a casual restaurant open for breakfast and dinner. Specialties include beef and seafood dishes, and buffets are also offered. Guests dine indoors under a high vaulted ceiling or outdoors on a shaded terrace. Decor features stone columns, an iron indoor gazebo, and a tropical bird theme.
El Faro Lobby Bar - The hotel's air-conditioned lobby bar features tropical decor and a sweeping view of the marina, lagoon, and beach. Live music most evenings.
Oasis Acqua Bar - This swim-up bar is located in the hotel's main pool. Guests order drinks under a thatched roof or from servers around the pool.

Recreation
The hotel has three pools, three tennis courts, a spa tub, a fitness room, a private beach, a putting green, and a private marina. The spa and salon offer more than 20 treatments including shiatsu, reflexology, and the signature Grand Bay facial.
The Isla Navidad Golf and Country Club features a 108-par, 27-hole course designed by Robert Von Hagge. Three nine-hole courses within the larger design highlight views of the ocean, mountain, and lagoon, respectively. An adjoining clubhouse, practice area, and pro shop provide golfers with equipment and instruction (surcharges).
Nearby, independent vendors offer deep-sea fishing, horse riding, and other activities (surcharges).

“Best Outside of Manzanillo”
Excellent facilities especially the pool. About 45 minutes outside of Manzanillo but worth the haul. Lovely marina harbor as view for most rooms.

My husband and I had seen this hotel featured on the Travel Channel as the #1 place to stay in Mexico and we had high expectations. They were met and surpassed! The pictures on the website do not do the place justice, it is incredibly beautiful.. and the service was fantastic! We would highly recommend.

The Grand Bay Hotel was one of the best places we have ever stayed (and we have been alot of places!). It was gorgeous, and the service was great. When we got there they greeted us with a refreshing drink and cool towel. When we left, they gave us a present. The beach was an awesome, calm bay with lounges and hammocks strung between palm trees. The pool had two waterslides, meandered throughout the lush grounds, and was breath-taking!!!!!!!! The restaurants had good food, and the rooms were comfortable. We definItely will come back soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A private, quiet and relaxing vacation. A perfect vacation spot if you are in need of quiet R & R. Service was way above average. Rooms were well tended and very clean. You could see the attention to detail in all areas of the hotel from the rooms and restaurants to the grounds and other public areas.

Beautiful hotel and biligunal staff who were very pleasant. It was "off season" for the area in late April and the hotel and town across the lagoon were quiet. Without other people the excursions were expensive to go on because they charged by the trip, not per person. Otherwise a great place to go.
“Fantasy Island has nothing on the Grand Bay Isla Navidad”
We absolutely feel in love with the hotel. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, the service at the hotel was endless. We ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel and it was good. We ate dinner in Barra de Navidad which is the small town across the bay. The people were very friendly and the food was good. The boat ride only takes 2 minutes atmost and cost 2 bucks for round trip. We walk the grounds of the hotel and were amazed by its decor and attention to detail. The last night we actually watched the movie Troy in the hotels movie theater which was completely empty and seats about 100 people. It was a full size screen theater all for us! We will definitely be back soon.
“One of the Best”
We have traveled many places and this ranks among the best. The off season price made it a great value and I highly reccomend a try. May is the hottest month! Food at the resort is very fresh and good and reasonably priced. Ate at Valero's in Barre and it is also very good.( Red Snapper) Most speak some english and it's fun figureing the rest out. Take the resort shuttle to and from the airport. The Staff attitude and service are among the best I've ever experienced.Quiet, peaceful but with things to do if you wish.
“Our Little Mexican Paradise”
Grand Bay Isla Navidad was an outstanding vacation resort experience in every way. The entire resort is impeccably kept, & the staff is courteous and patient, for you Spanish-impared travelers(most of the staff speaks decent English). Our room was spacious & entirely comfortable, with a large balcony overlooking the pool, garden area, and the resort's private lagoon & beach. The resort's restaurants and buffets are outstanding. We chose to have many of our meals across the bay (just over a stones throw via 'water taxi'). Locals are friendly, food is authentic & almost always well prepared and delicious, & the deals at the shops along the streets are plentiful. We'd booked horseback riding and snorkeling expeditions via Expedia with our vacation package. But when we arrived, the tour company, ExpoManzanillo, could not be reached. We contacted Expedia immediately thru the resort's concierge, and our fees for the booked activites were refunded right away, along with an appropriate apology. We were still able to book the activities thru the resort, at a slightly higher price than with our original package. But the tours were beautiful, the guides professional & friendly, and both expeditions were beautiful. Overall, this place was better than all the great traveler reviews I'd read; even better than the pictures on Expedia's internet brochure. Everything was absolutely beautiful. We will without question visit this beautiful, tranquil island paradise again.
