"So cold inside, so hot outside."
Stayed from Sep.6 (Sat) to Sep.8 (Mon), 4 times for me. Welcome drink, breakfast, room, staff or almost everything are excellent. But too cold inside the room to avoid the Manila heat outside.

While I was waiting for a friend on the lobby, a suited gentleman approached, smiled snd introduced himself as Patrick Schaub the General Manager of the hotel. He told me they keep working improving their services. I told him that it is perfect. Shangrila is my home whenever I'm I'm Manila.

"The Best non-premium hotel in Manila Area"
What a wonderful surprise and value! This isn't the Conrad Hilton but its staff makes you feel better than the Hilton ever will. The facilities are well maintained, very clean, and comfortable. The daily buffet breakfast is a great way to start the day and the young man at the omelet bar delivers each dish with a smile. On the room service menu we recommend the shrimp tempura and fried rice they rate 5 stars. Our only regret was we didn't order them until our last night. This isn't the fanciest part of Manila but my wife and I walked the neighborhood both by day and by night. When arriving at Manila let the hotel arrange your transportation $20 (you don't need the stress after a long airplane flight). However, after you have been there a few days and feel comfortable getting around just take a cab to get back to the airport 350 pesos (about $7). We plan on staying here next time we visit Manila.

"Romantic Corner"
I was not expecting much, considering other Hotel stays with there photos, and advertisements, but this Hotel was completely different. From the moment I set foot at the door and all the way to my room, the hospitality was above and beyond in so many ways,to long to describe. The welcoming Parties to room service (excellent) from A to Z..... I would recommend to all types, families included, all you need on the outside is available at hand. I will definitely stay again and recommend to all...

I have stayed many times at this Hotel and it is consistently fabulous. The hotel is quaint, with larger than normal rooms, always well kept and clean. The staff are the absolute best. You cannot go wrong with this hotel anytime.
