“Impressed”
Checking in was easy and the service was good. The room was clean and sanitary, we experianced no problems with our stay. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of selections.
“no fuss hotel”
Had 3 nights stay at this hotel. The receptionist, Clarice has a very pleasing personality and appears friendly. Had issue with the first room we were given and it was changed with no difficulty. The buffet breakfast was average, the fresh omelette making facility was very good. The lobby appears grand but the floor we stayed in (21st floor) seemed to have seen better days and carpet seemed to past the sell by date. The hotel bar has excellent drinks menu and we enjoyed watching the live band. The supervisor, Joi is very friendly and chatted with us when he's free. All staff are nice, with a ready smile on their faces as we come and go. The room we stayed in has excellent view of the city. Its amazing to see the tall well lit buildings all around. Room decor is a bit dated but was very well clean and tidy. The shower head is covered with moulds and when I asked the receptionist if there is something that can be done about it, I was told "no" with a smile, therefore, we just sort of accepted this and were careful not to open our mouths while in the shower. The location is superb, walking distance to the malls, restaurants, hospital (not that u will have to need to) and the train station (although good luck is required to get in as it appears to be crammed with people all the time- think about sardines), we ended up gettings taxis most of the time. Overall experience is very good. For value of money, its excellent.
“Staying at the Manila Pavilion Hotel And Casin”
I will definately stay at the Manila Pavilion Hotel And Casin again when I return to Manila. Very courteous staff and a very nice breakfast buffet.
“Always coming back to Manila...Pavillion!”
My fiancee and I stayed here on three separate occasions in the Junior Suite (and ended up getting the very same room on all three stays) which was very comfortable and felt like a home. Very comfortable sofa, dining area, and TV channel selection, plus the free Wi-Fi access made it all that much better. Don't patronize the mini bar, instead visit the many stores in the surrounding area, and the plethora of dining options around the Pavillion should satisfy just about everyone. The breakfast is somewhat of an international affair, as you will encounter many different options, and hear many different languages as well! I recommend anyone to stay here if you're looking for a decent place to stay that's relatively close to NAIA Airport.
“nice hotel for the price”
The hotel met our expectations as family traveling wih young kids. The staff and personnel were always helpful and courteous. We are thinking of making it our regular hotel when we come for a visit.
“perfect stay.....great hotel”
After a rather long trip it was great to find a hotel that had everything you would need. Not only was the hotel nice but the people working there made the entire vacation great. Located convenient to shopping, food, park, this was a perfect spot for us. The staff are friendly the food was excellent every morning and a person just felt safe so far from home. Really beyond what i expected.
“Max2010/04”
I have stayed at the Pavillion before and will continue to stay there when I am in Manila because of the service and location.I also like the breakfast buffet that is included with the room.
“would stay here again”
close parks , major shopping centre up the road, within 5 min walk. and for the lazy ones mc donalds across the road
“We would go back BUT would go the extra $ to upgrade room status”
Must of been a High glass hotel in its' hey day. As on previous others reveiws it does have sad carpeting in the rooms and maybe needs a lick of paint here and there but who gives a fig. WHEN it has an ideal location , Staff willing to go the extra mile to satisfy your needs.and always a smile and polite word. Buffet breakfast inclusive and great eateries right in the hotel[ The rest of hotel from its' entrance , reception, casino ,gym, rest rooms ,Bar, Patressrie are all well presented . Security on entrances makes it that much safer. We will go back.
“Have no expectation and you will be happy”
I have read other reviews that slammed this hotel because the rugs were old or dirty and things like that. Then it is rated as a 5 star hotel and some people believe it's not. I went there because of price and location of the hotel. I did not expect big things and because of that I was pleasantly surprise and happy with the hotel. The buffet was very good. The staff was kind. I will stay here again. It's close to everything I wanted to do. The only thing I would say bad about this hotel, is that for other service such as using their computer and buying water in your room is expensive to say the least. So i would suggest use the local store to buy water and use the mall for the internet cafe. Good value there.
