“Convenient and Clean”

The Highlander is an older, non-chain hotel that provides lovely rooms for guests, especially those with early flights out of Manchester Airport. For people who love the Colonial decor, this is the place. My husband thought the bed was uncomfortable -- I was too tired to notice. We would highly recommend this property to people who need to catch a flight. It''s next door to the airport and the shuttle service is great. You can also park and fly.

“Great hotel, no walk-to restaurants”

This is a very nice, clean hotel in a beautiful park-like site a few hundred yards from Manchester airport. Great area to take walks. Has in-hotel restaurant. The only downside is that if you don't want to eat in the hotel, there are no walkable-to restaurants.

Service great, Clean rooms,wonderful continetial breakfast with fresh fruit not the canned disgusting kind, bagels, Cereal, muffins and lots more. Prompt shuttle service to airport. We will certainly be returning to the Highlander.

“Really nice hotel”

We chose the Highlander Inn only because it was close to the Manchester airport. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort of the room. It looked like-new. We made use of the hotel's airport shuttle van after dropping off our rental car in the evening, and again in the morning to get to our flight. The shuttle was very quick to pick us up. The free breakfast was quite standard, but well presented and very satisfying. We heard that the hotel once had an excellent restaurant, but no longer. We had a local restaurant deliver dinner. We didn't hear any airplanes, in spite of being close to the airport. Sadly, we were told that the hotel is to be razed at the end of the year; the airport bought the property to make more parking area.

“I want to go back! It's a Great little hotel. Extremely comfortable.”

The woman who picked me up @ the airport had great personality, & made us feel very welcome. Check-in seemed a little long, But I was really really tired & had a little motion sickness so I'm sure it was Me. I have short blond hair, and in the morning I found a long black hair in my bed, but honestly, everything can't be completely cleaned all the time. I would go back to Manchester just for this hotel. They seemed to try harder to be good. I wish I could find More hotels like this when I travel.
