“Great hotel”

PErfect central Bolton location. Room clean and tidy. Smallish pool but all you would expect really. They also provide towels for use at the leisure facilities. Free car park for hotel residents was an unusual perk to have for a city centre location.

“Did the job”

Stayed here for one night,as we had free hospitality tickets for the football.Everything went smoothly.Was able to check in to the room at 2pm.Room fairly small,but more than adequate as we were only sleeping in there.Decor in the main ok,but there was no handle on the window,so we couldn't open it to let the fresh air in if needed.The bed was hard,but because I had a free bar at the football,I didn't notice this until the morning! The breakfast was excellent,as were the helpful staff.

“Generally fine - Britain and its rules!”

Great if you need to be near town centre - without actually feeling as if you are in a town centre. Breakfast 'rules' pre-pay for discount very complicated. Problem arose because we booked via a 'third party' i.e. expedia so we were offered a twin or a 'smoking' double - a supervisor then came and sorted us a nice double room. Generally, though this hotel was fine.

“Would suggest eating elsewhere.”

Food extremely poor (one of our party was ill as a result). Vegetables were visibly bad. Breakfast hugely overpriced. Staff seemed to be unsurprised at poor quality of the food.
