Area around hotel has building works, bit of a mess but can't fault hotel. Stayed in executive double room, very clean, bathroom looks brand new. Comfy beds and pillows, best nights sleep in a long time.

Spacious rooms and always on point hot water. Clean and comfortable beds. Hotel and rooms are noticeably dated. Nil complimentary wifi in rooms. Everytime elevated stopped on 3rd floor it made a loud bang which echoed through room.

Chose the hotel specifically as it had a pool. Told only when asking where to find the pool that it shut 4 years ago. For £200 for 1 night I'd have expected more. It wasnt awful just lacked the things it advertised. Also unbearably warm but our room had a window at least

Travelling with just one of my son and my wife after a long travel, the staff at the reception wanted proof of IDs which I think was non sense; I’ve been to a lot of Hotels- they don’t need to check Tom, Dick and Harry’s ID apart from the person whose name the booking is under. Just add to much stress and waiting unnecessarily after a long travel in a rainy night!

Stayed for one night and after reading some reviews I was panicking however I did not need too! The staff were lovely and helpful . The room was clean and comfy . Yes the furniture is dated however for the price it was more than worth it ! The only thing I could say is the heating was on full so it was boiling in the room ! I just put the fan on . Overall a cheap good night in Manchester 😊

The room did not have a window which was made clear on the booking, however it was really warm. The fan helped. the location was great and the hotel security was safe. There is parking over the road but was not made clear on the entry of the parking.

The staff were really friendly and helpful for the most part, however, we had a defective heating issue in our room (with no windows) which made the room excessively hot the entire time we were there, we turned off the heating using the weird switch on the wall, but it made no difference. The heating was left on prior to our arrival to the room. We had a plug in fan, but it made no difference as it was circulating hot air. We asked reception for assistance as we were feeling extremely sick from the heat, they advised it would be sorted soon as the heating for the building was on, they refused a second plug in fan, it was not resolved. . We had no sleep that night at all; it was extremely hot and we had cold compresses on ourselves to stop us from being sick, it was horrible. The room had no air conditioning at all. I would not return to the property. It doesn't look like the photos posted on expedia at all. Very basic accommodation.

Kids and I had a terrible experience with Britannia Sachas Hotel in the past few days. Which we never met in other hotels in the past. 1. All staff never greetings and smiling to customers. Including security guys, front desk receptionists and managers.all they did were stared at you when you were entering the hotel. All customers could feel this hotel like as hell. 2. Noisy, dirty and unsafe environment inside and outside the hotel. I took some pictures. 3. They entered my room without permission and forgot to lock my door properly one day before we check out. They did not any excuses. 4. I suggest strongly that to avoid this hotel to waste your time and money.

Our beds were comfortable and once turned radiator down room good temperature. Shower worked and hot. Couldn't double lock door in 322 which was a bit nervy when another person was banging on a door down the corridor.

Without exaggerating this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, in years. It feels more like a bedsit for the unfortunate rather than a hotel. We booked an executive double room, if that’s what the executive looks like i dread to think what a standard is like and for £109 it’s unbelievable! If we weren’t on the spot and had the time to cancel and rebook somewhere else we would have. Check-in was painful and needing ID for anyone staying and not just the booking person, my wife doesn’t carry picture ID So this became an issue… but it shows the issues the hotel has if you cannot trust a married couple to book a room for one evening. Dirty room, basic hard double bed with flimsy legs, lamps that didn’t work in the room, filthy kettle and a a broken shower handle in the bath, which was also dirty and a less than new bath mat. This is my first experience using Expedia and I’ll think twice about using again after this experience and these are the types of hotel that they offer….

Very good value hotel that is not complicated and you get what you expect for the very good price. Great location makes everything very accessible and walkable on the doorstep of Market Street. Have had great service from staff on every visit, don't forget your ID.

My bedroom was ready and in time for my check-in. The room was clean tidy and warm. time away from it all was a welcome. limited TV channels (good) Kettle, combe bath and shower. Hair dryer available. Excellent location. 5 min walk from the Piccadilly Train Station. 2 min walk to Manchester City Centre and the Metro. Full English breakfast available. lunch and dinner are eat outs. Excellent, perfect place to put your head when on a budget (3 star). I have no problem with this and would stay there again.

Hotel is very dated, it is in a good location and everything is nearby. The cleaners do not come and clean your room whilst staying there, I noticed there was a poster advertising cleaning positions so I imagine they don't have enough staff. The shower in the room was terrible, barely any water came out of it and what did was low pressure. The place is fine to stay for 1 or 2 nights but I wouldn't recommend any more than that.

Worst hotel I have ever been too
The hotel is absolutely nothing like the pictures. Room was terrible. Spoke to reception and they told us the room we booked via the pictures we saw on booking did not exist and they were old pictures. Non of the pictures match the hotel. We was not offended to be moved rooms instead they said they will cancel the booking and issue a refund. We had to book another hotel for the evening. Now having to wait a minimum of 14 days for a reply in regards to obtaining my refund as they said they can't issue the refund immediately and also they were unwill to provide any form of paperwork in regards to the cancellation. AVIOD AT ALL COSTS. Would give zero stars if I could.
