My stay was great. Great service great/clean room, i almost booked somewhere else because of the negative reviews but i am so happy i didn't. These folks just had a bad day and no matter what anyone did they weren't going to be happy. I can't say enough about the Westin in Mammoth, i hope to come back soon.

“As Good As It Gets in Mammoth?”

We have stayed here twice. Once in the summer, and once in the fall. Both times, the service was very, very good, with a single exception, the first time. We had a drink in the bar, and sat on the side. Getting a server to come by for anything, including collecting money was nearly impossible. Other than that, every single thing about this hotel has been spectacular. If you are there in the non-freezing time, spend the extra money for a 1 bedroom with a balcony. The balcony is small, but it is very nice to sit, have a glass of wine, and enjoy your partner and the mountains. Highly recommended.

“Luxury one and a half miles high”

This is a lovely hotel. My room was very spacious (King size room) and had a lovely window-seat. The view from my room was like a postcard. The hotel's restaurant was fantastic. The concierge was very friendly and suggested several excellent hikes in the area. This hotel made my vacation truly special. Also, having a fully-stocked kitchenette, as well as little details like coat hooks would make this hotel very comfortable for a family ski vacation.

“Would go back in a heartbeat”

This is a beautiful resort hotel in a gorgeous setting. The staff were excellent and the room was fantastic. It was summer when we stayed there so it was fairly quiet, and we didn't get to use the fire in the room, but I can imagine it would be a wonderful place to rest after a hard day's skiing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or to go back.

“My number 1 choice!”

Being used to the Westin type service and quality I was not disappointed. From the bellman, valet, to the lady in the front desk, made my stay and in-n-out instances very pleasant. The condo itself (I had a two bedroom condo) was impeccable and very comfortable. I had the opportunity to go to the pool area, note the jacuzzi that's closer to the door doesn't have good working jets, gotta go to the one far back to have a relaxing end-of-day experience. As far as the service at the restaurant (had only breakfast a couple of times), I had good service one day, not the next. I can't rate the overall experience based on that since everyone else made me feel like a VIP. I've stayed in almost every other resort/hotel and this is definitely the best by far.

“Beautiful hotel in a beautiful place”

Loved the place and my room. Very crisp, clean, not the least bit tired. Enjoyed the pool, standard gym fare for a hotel. Ate at the restaurant which was very good. Overall, a very nice stay.
