The location is beautiful, resort is lovely and we had the most special relaxing holiday ever. What makes this place so special is the staff and management here. They take a real personal approach and cannot do enough for you. Everyone is so genuinely friendly and we were really sad to leave. We ended up in a Ocean View Tokoriki Retreat room - Wow! our own private plunge pool where we could see through to the beach between beachfront retreats. The way the rooms were situated gives great privacy and when the plants and vegetation grow, this will increase. Bathroom and shower was huge! The food was so good! It was exciting, fresh and the best I have ever experienced in Fiji (let along in NZ & Australia. The food presented on the 3 buffet nights was exceptional. The rest of menu was just awesome and breakfast was great. The grounds and gardens are lovely and will be stunning when the plants and flowers have grown. (Fiji is currently experience a drought so they have done so well to get anything established). The beach is beautiful and the snorkeling is great. There was always a quiet spot to be found, either round the pool or on the beach. They cater for children here and the mix of guests were great from couples, families friends etc. You have to book the transfers through the Sheraton, 1 hour out and 2 hours back or ff you can afford it - get a helicopter transfer at least one way....

We spent 5 nights at Mana with my one year old daughter in tow. We had an amazing experience at the resort. The staff are very friendly and interacted constantly with our little girl. The food was delicious especially to Lovo!! I did find the food a little pricey which I think would be the only downside to the stay. The beaches are beautiful and the pools are great. Loved that it was such a family friendly place. Highly recommend it:):)

"Not perfect but as close as you will get!"
We stayed 5 nights in October 2014 after a wedding on the mainland. The facilities are fresh, the location idyllic and the staff a complete delight. No-one ever wants to go home after a holiday and Tropica is definitely a place you do not want to leave. I have been to other places in Fiji and Tropica is now at the top of my list. We will be back!

"Excellent place to stay!"
We chose this hotel because it was close to a surf spot I wanted to hit, and it was not as expensive as those "surfing resorts" near by the surf spot. This location was a little further but close enough - 20min boat ride got us to the famous Cloud Break. We loved the setting of this hotel - very quiet and serene. Not many families and kids. The food and drinks were great too.

The staff, the location. So amazing. We went for a relaxing holiday and could not have been happier. Straight off the beaches you could snorkel into the most beautiful reef. The food was fresh and tasty and the weather fantastic

"Adults only resort."
From the moment we arrived at Lomani we knew that it was special. The 'check in' took place whilst seated on a lounge, a drink in hand, as a staff member gave a small presentation about the resort and the amenities. The one to one nature of this set the tone for a very personal service. The rooms were very spacious and the outside shower (there was also a standard indoor one) was divine - a real treat. All the usual activities were free as were the snorkeling and dolphin watching trips, unlike at the nearby resorts which charged for these. The only complaint was the time it took for lunch to arrive after it was ordered. However, after the first day when we sat waiting in the restaurant, we ordered lunch at the pool so we could keep relaxing or swimming or just lazing on the beautiful daybeds. The food itself was delicious, with an a la carte menu at all meals and daily specials included at dinner too. Cocktails were great, but sadly no 'happy hour'! One of the best experiences was the Managers cocktail party, Cava Ceremony and buffet dinner. We generally avoidthings like this but decided to give it a go. What a great night it turned out to be. Very special. We can't wait to go back to Lomani, the best holiday we have in years.

Great holiday with lots going off. Found food adequate at resort but better at Anadans restaurant. Beaches and snorkelling great with plenty of fish to be found just off beach. Choice of food not great for breakfast if you don't like big cooked one and lunches could do with choice of sandwiches instead of burgers, chips, wedges and pizza. Bit too heavy. Loungers on beach need a bit of maintenance presuming they do this in off season. Tennis court surface bad. All in all a very lovely place to visit next time definitely taking grandkids. Garden rooms very spacious and airconditioned plus fans. Shop beside Anadans great for groceries and fruit if needed. Tea and coffee facilities and small fridge in room only but lovely fresh towels daily. Will be back.

Amazing!! Perfect family holiday break. Great location on a beautiful tropical island. Very welcoming and friendly staff and guests. Relaxing and low key if you want but lots of activities if you are so inclined. Great snorkelling straight off the beach. 3 restaurants so choices for dining and the kids club was amazing the kids were begging to be allowed even more time there!

"Exquisite setting , by outstanding staff"
Tokoriki Island Resort certainly exceeded our expectations in terms of sheer attention to even the smallest detail ( like the offer to polish your sunglasses whilst lying around the pool - all the better to appreciate the stunning view more clearly !). The staff are superb , the bures beautifully appointed and very well maintained and the Spa is tranquil and well run. A lovely surprise was that there were no surprises on the bill when we left - the meal plan really does include everything you could possibly want to eat for breakfast , lunch and dinner. On the whole ( with a few minor exceptions) the meals were of high quality and the desserts 'to die for'.

"Short break in Fiji"
We had a short 5 night stay in Westin Resort, Denarau are were very pleased with the resort, staff were amazing and even sang us a song on our last breakfast morning at their restaurant which was very emotional. Everyone was extremely friendly and caring and did everything to make our stay memorable. Highly recommend this place to everyone with or without kids, it has plenty of space for all ages and types. Enjoy!

A group of small islands offshore from Nadi, the Mamanucas are ringed by sandy beaches, turquoise to pastel green waters, and coral reefs. Access is a quick hop from Nadi via boat or plane transfer, and accommodation options range from budget to luxury, and bures (traditional thatch-roof huts) through to exclusive beachfront villas. Scuba diving and snorkelling in this region comes highly recommended.
