“Great Hotel”
This is one of the best hotel we have ever stayed at...GREAT value, staff, food, accomodation, Location. Can not say anything bad .
“Best Hotel Yet”
This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in, fantastic quality, fantastic service, that's without mentioning the view out of the infinity pool on the roof
“A good standard of hotel for the price”
We have just got back from a 5 night stay and this hotel was excellent for the money we paid. We did not take breakfast as they wanted 16 Euros a head which was far too much. Although at the top of a hill the walk was good excersize and pleasant and it was in a quiet location which is a big plus. It was also very close to the restaurants along the strand and both the buses and ferry to Valleta. I would recommend this hotel, the staff were very helpful and the amenities good
“Very impressed.”
My wife and I stayed at The Palace for a two week holiday in May 2008. We found the hotel well situated to explore Sliema. The staff were professional but friendly and the small rooftop pool was very enjoyable. The indoor pool wasn't finished but as the weather was excellent this was not important. The restauant seemed nice and the bar provided a small but excellent range of meals. We found the range of food at breakfast a little over done and definitely over priced but as a 5* hotel perhaps they feel it necessary to offer a huge breakfast. We couldn't fault our stay.
“A very good hotel - we will be back”
We stated at The Palace for one week in August 2008. Arriving into the comfortably cool lobby, the staff were helpful and friendly. We arrived early, so we sampled the downstairs bar/restaurant for lunch and found the food and service to be very good. We were staying room only and usually came down here for a tasty brunch. Our room was spacious and our balcony was easily big enough for two chairs and a room service cart (but not much else). The top floor restaurant is very good - typical fusion menu with superb service. The night time view across to Valletta added to the experience. The seventh floor pool area was quieter than the top floor sun deck. It's easy to get out of the sun here too. The gym was also very quiet during our stay. Minor gripes: The air con got our room to a comfortable temperature, but could have gone a touch cooler for my liking. The water pressure wasn't great in the shower. Overall a good quality hotel in a nice area, in easy reach of good nightlife.
“Perfect Location, good service excellent bedrooms”
The hotel was in a priviliged situation, near the promenade but in a quiet area. The room was big, comfortable, modern, very clean, nothing was missing. Excellent rapport with the hotel staff. good advice given by them when requested. I can't wait to go back and treat a friend or a family member. Best holiday for the perfect occasion.
“Will definately go again”
The hotel and staff were first class, Nothing was too much trouble. The rooftop pool was amazing with fantastic views. The Asian Restaurant was picturesque in the evening and the food to die for. Breakfast was served until 10.30am and there was so much choice you could eat enough to last until the evening ! The hotel is situated Within minutes of local amenities, excellent shops and restaurants. The local buses take you anywhere on the island and the ferry takes you to Valetta in 10 mins. We had a fantastic time and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Very comfortable hotel”
On arrival at the Palace, the friendly receptionist told us that we'd been upgraded to a bigger room, which was a nice surprise. Our room had a balcony and a view over rooftops to the sea. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was quite expensive, but there was a good selection so it set us up well for the rest of the day. We also ate some dinners in the hotel, in the Tabloid restaurant. These were buffet-style, and were very good in terms of quality and choice, and the desserts were to die for! The hotel is well located as a base for exploring Malta, as it is situated close to the ferry to Valletta and also local buses.
“Très bel hotel. Très sympathique !”
Nous aurions aimé qu il y ait quelques personnes qui parlent français , surtout à l'arrivée quand il y a l'explication de l'hotel !! et enfin nous aurions aimé que les l'utilisation des terminaux de carte bleue soit au point. Ils avaient quelques difficultés à les faire fonctionner... c'était parfois desagréable...
