Serene and exuberant place
Quiet location, 8minute walking distance to ferry and seaside. Gorgeous old palace though drafty and sometimes the water pressure was faulty.

Double Booked - Very unhappy customers!
My husband had booked this surprise trip for me and him to spend some time together. Upon arriving at the sister hotel, The Victoria, for check in as instructed we were told that our room wasn't ready and that we should come back to reception after 3pm. Just after 3pm we returned to reception and were given a key for room 603. At this point alarm bells rang and we said that we were booked into the Palazzo Cappua in a suite. Immediately another receptionist came over to us and pleaded with us asking us to at least look at the room as it beautiful. There was no explanation as to what had happened but we kept saying that we had booked for the Palazzo Cappua and showed them our booking confirmation. We went to look at room 603 in The Victoria Hotel but were not satisfied that this was of the same quality as the room we had booked and therefore returned to reception extremely unhappy and said that we were not prepared to stay in room 603. It then became clear that our room at the Palazzo had been double booked and was simply not available to us that night as someone was already in it. Very unhappy customers! We then spoke to somebody of a supervisor level to say that he was extremely sorry but the room was not available and he couldn't do anything about that. He offered us a room in the sister hotel, The Palace, and took us to show this room. This was a standard city centre double room which overlooked the Palazzo - how insensitive could they get. Would not return!!

Treat yourself to a stay at a proper Palace
Wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Palazzo next time we come, one of my best decisions of 2015. The only slight downside was the breakfast which was not quite as premium as the room (a little chaotic and unpredictable with the cooked elements particularly). Personally, if there was a room only option I'd go for that next time but the overall price was very good so value was never in question. The concierge and reception staff were never less than fantastic.

Great Hotel but not quite perfect.
very nice hotel. rooms are big and the palace is quite special. would definitely recommend. things to note: cleaning isnt really up to scratch. when we arrived there was a half empty packet of cigarettes on the floor (if i smoked then this would probably be a positive thing :) ). cleaner left the back doors unlocked on our second day. staff from the hospital next door like to have a loud chat at 6:30am right outside your window. not a big problem if youre a good sleeper. if you are any taller than 6'4" then you will need to crouch as the mezzanine floor is quite low. breakfast is a bargain, but the evening buffet isnt really up to scratch. but these are only small issues. the room is great, the palace is nice and its an easy walk to shops or seaside. excellent service from the staff otherwise. Recommended.

Delightful Hotel
This is a lovely hotel situated in a quite street. The suite we had was spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. The bedroom upstairs was very comfortable. The bathroom was well fitted out and a good selection of toiletries were available. The room had tea / coffee making facilities. Breakfast, which was taken in the adjacent Victoria hotel was a hot / cold buffet with a good choice of food. Reception personnel were all very friendly and helpful.

Our last night after a 3 month stay in Malta. We decided a bit of luxury before the long flight home. Everything was great. If you stay do not miss the Asian Fusion Restaurant on the ninth floor

Excellent service, but room needs some thought
The staff were amazing, especially Charles. The layout of the room was odd in that the bedroom was on the mezzanine floor of the suite but the bathroom was downstairs, which meant that in the night if you wanted the bathroom you had to turn lights on and disturb your partner. The shower was of the rain shower type but in a shower enclosure that was very small. The worst bit was that the balcony of our suite, Selma, was right next to where the doctors and nurses from the adjoining hospital (and I mean adjoining) sat for their break and to smoke so they were there early in the morning chattering and puffing away whilst you tried to have a cup of tea.I do have to reiterate that the staff were excellent and always had a smile for you, which is more than can be said for where we are now on the second week of our holiday (Ta cenc, Gozo)

Lovely suite near to Swimming and restaurants
Arrived early morning due to plane delays and car hire issues. Brilliant service from start to finish. Reception even greeted me by name. Swimming facilities absolutely awesome. Suite comfortable and Palazzo a stunning building well preserved by hotel chain.

このような4つ星ホテルは初めてです
ホテル従業員のサービスの質が4つ星とは思えなかったです。また、謎な離れに部屋が用意されており、朝食や出かけるたびに、無駄な移動が発生するのはかなり煩わしかったです。 プールが2つ付いており、特に屋外プールがあることは唯一のポジティブな点ですが、この値段でもう一度宿泊したいとは思わないです。

城を使ったホテル
ハネムーンで使用させていただきました。 ビクトリアホテルの別館で、アイルランド王室の別荘用の建物だそうで、非常に雰囲気があります。 部屋毎に異なるのですが、内装はゴージャスで、私達の部屋はオリエンタルな雰囲気が漂う素晴らしい部屋でした。 サービス自体は普通レベルです。

大きな部屋!
とても高級感があり、お城の1室のような感じです。 リビングが20畳以上+ベットルーム、バスルームも6畳ぐらいあると思います。 少し清潔感には欠けます、あとお湯が途中から水になったことが残念ですね。 スタッフの対応はとてもよかったと思います。

Romantisches Hotel in guter Lage
Sehr schoenes, kleines Hotel in guter Lage, perfekt um Malta zu erkunden. Das Zimmer war riesig Nur das Fruehstueck war fuer ein 4 Sterne Hotel eher schlecht

チェックインしようとすると、ダブルブッキングで驚きましたが、お詫びに代わりの部屋に加え、ワイン1本付の夕食を提供してくれました。スタッフの対応がとても気持ちよく、誠意が感じられ、快適に過ごせました。

Mycket bra hotell med stort plus för poolområdet
Hotellet består av 5 (tror jag) sviter. Vi bodde i sviten Prince Francesco och den var jättebra. Jag uppskattar takhöjden till ca 4 meter. Hotellet delar frukostmatsal, reception och pool med hotell Victoria som ligger bredvid. Servicen på hotellet är jättebra. Poolområdet är beläget på 9:e våningen, på taket, på hotell Victoria. Hotellet är beläget på högsta punkten i Sliema vilket innebär att man från poolen har utsikt över Valetta, havet m.m.

Kunde varit toppen
Vi bokade Palazzo Capua för det verkade vara ett lyxigt svithotell och vi tog en King Suite som vi trodde var det finaste. Vardagsrum och badrum var mycket bra, 4-5 stjärnor. Sovrummet däremot var på ett loft och där kändes det som om pengarna inte hade räckt till för det var väldigt sunkigt. Det låg en död mal på det sunkiga överkastet och garderoben var gammal och luktade unket. Dålig säng med en fjäder som stack upp i ryggen. Uteplatsen var på en delad loftgång med några meter till sjukhusets fasad. Detta hade inte gjort så mycket om det inte var för att sjukhuspersonalens rökruta låg två meter från vår uteplats och där röktes det och babblades dygnet runt. Man hade med andra ord ingen lust att sitta på uteplatsen. Blandad service i Victoriahotellet. En man som verkade vara chef var mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående men hans kollega hade ingen servicekänsla alls. Ett minus också att man var tvungen att äta sin frukost på Victoria. Det borde ha varit på Palace som är 5-stjärnigt. Victorias frukost var max 3-stjärnig. Mycket fin service och trevligt bemötande på A Tavola där vi åt vår middag på bröllopsdagen.
