“Will return!”
An excellent hotel with 5 star luxury in every way, which is reflected in the price! All the staff were extremely helpful and willing to please. Views from the balcony were amazing and a joy to wake up to every morning. One drawback is the climb up the steps to reach Valletta which is exhausting in the heat of the day.The barbecue around the pool area on Sunday evening was enjoyable with a good choice of food and desserts + entertainment.

We returned last week from a very enjoyable stay at the Excelsior Grand.Akthough very hot in Valetta, there were nice refreshing breezes around the hotel pool due to the grat location of the hotel overlooking the harbour. Our room was a good size,as was the balcony.The bed was supremely comfortable and wasn't conducive to getting down to breakfast very early!We noticed one or two slightly dusty areas int he bathroom and there was a rather large dirty mark on the room carpet but other than that,the cleaning service provided by the maids was excellent. There were plenty of clean towels and the bed linen could be changed as often as we liked.The food in the hotel was better than we have experienced in other similar grade hotels.The staff in the hotel were, without exception, very friendly and helpful. One criticism, the pool towels were far too small.We would definitely like to return to the Excelsior Grand and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
“Great Hotel”
We stayed there a week in July. New and clean hotel, loved the room and the view. Extremely helpful staff. Close to town and the bus station, but long stairs at the entrance so you need to be fit. Limited but good room service. Food in restaurants not great but the breakfast really is.
“situation idéale dans la valette”
La situation de l'hotel est idéale pour visiter la Valette à pied et est proche de tous les endroits de la ville à visiter, des restaurants... Il est également proche de la gare routière (5 mns) qui permet d'accéder aux lignes de bus à destination des lieux touristiques à visiter : Mdina, rabat... Il est doté de belles piscines (intérieure et extérieure) et d'une petite plage privée dont nous avons pu profiter pour un séjour en octobre ( je suppose qu'en pleine saison, la plage est compte tenu de sa taille d'un accès limité par rapport au nombre de chambres de l'hotel...). Le personnel de l'accueil est très aimable et disponible.

“Hôtel extraordinaire, à la hauteur de nos espoirs”
Premier séjour dans un hôtel 5 étoiles en ce qui nous concernait. Nous avons été enchantés : accueil chaleureux, personnel aux petits soins, petit déjeuner très variés (mention spéciale pour le saumon fumé et les omelettes extra , hmmm), salle de fitness avec piscine (attention, ça glisse quand même !), sauna et hammam. Le fait de partir en février a permis d'éviter la foule par ailleurs, l'hôtel n'étant pas plein. Il est situé à quelques mètres de l'entrée sur la Vallette, l'idéal...
“Un cadre intérressante”
Un trés bon hotel, service et qualté produit irréprochable. Stuation de l'hotel dans roche des remparts. Magifque ainssi qu'une vue superbe sur l'un des trois forts de la valette. Seul bmole le ménage dans des chambre magnifique et neuve laisse à désirer.

“Delightful Hotel”
The Excelsior was an excellent hotel to stay at over Xmas. We were treated very kindly and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel was well placed for transport and for getting around Valetta itself.
