Property Amenities
Wireless Internet access is complimentary throughout the property. The hotel terraces, with classic white-stone balustrades and wicker furniture, and grounds overlooking the white-sand beach of Cala Mayor, are the focus of attention during warm weather.
On the third floor, a small triangular outdoor swimming pool has been converted into a fashionable chill-out area with a bar, ambient music and soft seating with large cushions.
At beach level the spa area includes massage rooms, a hot tub, and hydromassage pool (surcharges apply).
At ground level, sun loungers are set out in a small lawned area beneath tall palm trees, facing the beach.
Valet parking is available (surcharge).

Rooms
The 10-storey Nixe Palace has 133 air-conditioned guestrooms, decorated in a traditional style. Neutral walls and dark wood furniture are complemented by soft furnishings with colourful birds and floral patterns, and historic prints on the walls. Sea-view rooms also have balconies with wicker chairs and views of the beach and bay.
Amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access, minibars, and desks with 20-inch satellite televisions. Bathrooms are fully tiled with grey marble floors walls and sink tops; bathtubs and hand-held showers, hairdryers, and complimentary Hermes toiletries. A welcome gift of typical island food or drink produce awaits guests.

Dining
Santemar Bistro Restaurant - Informal fifth-floor restaurant offering a buffet breakfast in the morning (surcharge), and snacks and meals throughout the day. Sea views from the terrace. Open all day.
A Popa - Small, bright, nautical-themed restaurant designed to recall the interior of a wooden sailing ship (the name means ship's stern), complete with ship's wheel and portholes. A small terrace with canvas chairs looks directly onto the white sand beach of Cala Mayor. Specialises in fish and seafood. Meat options also available. Open for lunch and dinner.
Poolside Bar - Snacks and drinks served by the outdoor pool overlooking the beach, in a chill-out area with ambient music. Open throughout the day, until late in the summer season (mid-May to September).
Lobby Bar - Formal lounge, serving a large selection of drinks accompanied by live piano music each evening.
Room service - Available 24 hours a day.
Recreation
In summer Cala Mayor beach, immediately adjoining the hotel, provides guests with numerous recreational opportunities including swimming and a range of motorised and non-motorised water sports (independent operators, surcharges apply). Water sports are also available in adjacent Palma Bay resorts, within 10 minutes' drive.
Year-round golf can be played at 15 courses around the island, five of which lie within a 15-minute drive of the hotel. Guests enjoy discounts at most courses.

“Mallorca (April 7th-15th)”
The hotel was amazing and the service was also great. Unfortunately they were in the final stages of renovating the indoor pool and spa area, but the outdoor pool deck and all the restaurants were as great as the amazing views. I would like to go back the next chance I get.

“Very Nice Hotel in Cala Mayor”
The hotel and the service was excellent. At check in around noon, room was not ready and we were treated to a couple of drinks at the lobby bar. Later in the evening the Maitre sent a half bottle of Champagne to the room! (We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary so it came in handy. Only negative, all seaview rooms had very nice balconies except ours. Even though our room was a Premium Seaview.
“Elegant Hotel”
Our stay was wonderful! The hotel is beautiful and the front desk staff was very helpful! Although the hotel is not in the city center, we were ablt to go to all the historic sites using the convient bus system with stops just outside the hotel.

“Very nice-I would stay there again”
A very nice hotel, some rooms have a wonderful view of the bay. A little too far from the center of Palma to walk, but easily reachable by car or bus.
“Best Vacation - and memorable Honeymoon ever”
I had researched this hotel on TripAdvisor and Expedia. When we arrived, we were certainly not dissapointed. The Lobby is beautiful with a view of the Sea on the other side. The spa was fantastic and the amenities were very satisfactory. The food was to die for. We had some of the best food while we were there, and it was room service!! The concierge is very knowledgeable and willing to help. I picked their brains for the best trips to go on while we were there, and everything was splendid. The rooms are beautiful, always well kept and efficient. We stayed at the Nixe for a few days, and then checked out and went to Ibiza for the weekend where we stayed at another 5 star hotel. The Nixe certainly stood out as better as far as service and comfort. We checked back into the Nixe when we came back to Palma, and were put in a different room. The service was just as exceptional and we were even upgraded for our honeymoon to a VIP suite. The pool area was very relaxing and the beach is very inviting. My only complaint is that the bathroom shower is rather small. We did stay in a premium sea view room and the VIP room had the same small shower. It was not a problem, but that would be the only issue I had. We went to a few other hotels in the Palma area, and NOT ONE looked better or had such splendid views and facilities as the Nixe. That is the truth. I would not say it otherwise. Strongly, strongly suggest this hotel if you visit Palma. And the prices are very reasonable!!
“Great hotel with amazing mediterranean views”
The Nixe Palace is a beautiful hotel set on the cliffs with uninterrupted views of the coastline. Great hotel with extremely helpful staff. The standard rooms with a 'city view' are on the small side and the road is somewhat noisy so if your budget permits, the sea views rooms with their own terraces are well worth it. Excellent food - breakfast will last you most of the day! Pool is a bit small and if the hotel is full might be somewhat overcrowded however the beach is at the bottom of a couple of flights of stairs so it's not too much of an issue! A couple of words of warning though, you do have to pay for a lounger on the beach and although it appears sandy, there are a lot of very sharp rocks lurking under a very thin layer of sand so beware of your toes! All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Can't wait to go back ...”
Hotel was amazing, it really has everything you need there and very smart. The bus outside takes you straight into the city or close to the waterfront (where I recommend going in evenings and for nice afternoon walks). We were lucky as it wasn't peak season so not too cramed but could imagine the beach in front of the hotel gets rammed packed in summer but still amazing.
