“Palma & Melia Palas superb”
We would efinitely recommend Majorca, Palma and THe Melia Palas hotel for a holiday. Travel and transfers easy and good value. Hotel situation and quality superb. Palm beautiful for sunbathing, shopping and sightseeing all in walking distance and the streets are safe.
“A hidden gem.”
The pictures of the hotel do not do it justice, customer service was excellent- we were allowed into our room 2 hours early, it was always clean I would not hesitate to stay there again. There is a club next door (not under the hotel that is the Gran Melia Victoria down the road) I have read reviews complaining of the noise but the first three floors are hotel facilities and I wasn't affected by it. Location is not bad, a short walk into the city centre but well sited for Tapas bars and away from the busy parts of the city.
“Always stay at this hotel when we go to Palma.”
Hotel staff cannot do enough for you, especially reception staff. We have had travel complications (not through Expedia) on 2 occassions whilst at this hotel, and staff could not be more helpful.
“Beautiful hotel”
The hotel was gorgeous from the first walk in the door and a bellboy was on hand to direct us to the reception and check in was quick and easy, we were treated very well and staff were always friendly and helpful for our entire stay. The hotel itself is incredibly grand with a huge sweeping staircase and stunning furnishings. We did not eat in the hotel due to a small budget but did treat ourselves to a massage in the hotel spa- would thoroughly recommend paying this a visit as it was a wonderful experience, staff were lovely and gorgeous surroundings.
“Excellent Choice for Palma Visit”
This is a very fine hotel: nicely designed, maintained and operated. The staff displayed a wonderful attitude, clearly committed to customer service. The hotel is very well situated on a waterfront promenade, a short walk from all the major sights, on a very nice stretch of waterfront, with easy access to airport busses and other transit. I would be happy to return to this hotel and strongly recommend it.

“Very nice clean comfortable hotel with very friendly staff!”
Nice hotel within 15 min walk to the centre of Palma. Staff were very helpful and spoke very good english! Bar staff were very sociable! Did not enjoy breakfast it was very over priced as it was not included in the price of the room. Make sure you request a sea view/Catherdral View.
“Excellent central position, lovely views”
Lovely hotel, caters for business and holiday visitors, and is in prime location about 15 min walk from Palma centre. Very comfortable facilities, indoor and outdoor pools, nice restaurant. Taxi rank right outside and nice eating areas close by. Nice hotel for weekend break or longer family holiday.

Hôtel luxueux avec sa piscine très agréable, le personnel est extra. Très bon rapport qualité prix , mais ne pas séjourner en chambre standart il faut prendre vue mer.
“Great hotel with wonderful views”
This is a really good hotel and very good value for money. Our room was very comfortable and peaceful. It is definitely worth paying extra for the 'Maritime View' rooms as the view was captivating at all times of the day and night. We spent a few afternoons around the pool and although it was busy we always managed to get some sun loungers. There is a poolside bar/cafe where they serve reasonably priced drinks and snacks. We also paid for the breakfast option and it was well worth it! There is a great choice of breakfast foods - the pancakes with maple syrup were lovely. The staff at reception were very helpful. When we checked in and went to our room we discovered that we had been given a lateral sea view room in error. However, within minutes this was sorted out and we moved straight into a Maritime View room. All in all Palma is a beautiful and charming city with lots of things to see and do. It was nice to stay near the marina and the Palas Atenea allows you to be near the city but with the benefit of wonderful views over the water.
