Upon arriving we were told “we cannot find your booking”. After a long pause and feeling quite awkward, I showed the completed booking and receipt and we were told to go and sit down whilst reception asked reservations to locate it. We were offered a drink which we accepted however the attitude was not the most friendly and welcome you’d expect at what’s meant to be a high end hotel. After 40 minutes my husband asked the receptionist whether we needed to find an alternative accommodation but he then said it has been located. I asked what the problem was to which I was told “I don’t know”! We went to our room. Given that there was 3 of us, the room should have had what was advertised as a double sofa bed. It was in fact a small foam corner sofa with a sheet on the cushions. The air conditioning was terrible and the door handles on the balcony were broken. My husband swapped beds with our daughter mid way through the holiday so she could be more comfortable. He went down to reception and asked for something to be done about this bed. Nothing was. When we checked out and asked about our stay, we were told we should have told them again about the bed and they could have done something, bit too late and they shouldn’t need to be told twice. What we did find was that they favour German nationals over British. The Guest Relations lady was overall quite rude. Needless to say we will not be returning!

Great place to stay with children, service is fantastic and friendly. Would highly recommend. The only thing I would fault is the stuffed animal heads in reception.

I stayed here with my wife on a 9-night break and we really enjoyed it. The staff were very welcoming and helpful at all times. The resort was clean, tidy and well-maintained. We chose a Comfort Class Pool-View Room and it was large and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast (which was excellent) was available until noon every day and good food was available all day until well into the evening. The resort has a large supermarket nearby and is close to bus stops which make local travel very easy. There is a cycle route nearby and the hotel will make arrangements for bicycle hire if you wish. You can also arrange car hire with the hotel. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Lindner Golf Resort and would recommend it without hesitation.

Lovely hotel. Bed improvement could make it top.
The hotel is very lovely and service is good. Breakfast is a pleasure, and a small beach is only a 20-min walk away. Parking is so easy. On the down side, the beds are not really comfortable… From the mattress to the linen and pillows. Moreover, I asked for a twin room, which they acknowledged upon checkin but once we got to the room, the beds were still together and they are a pain to separate.

Very relaxing, excellent hotel.
Excellent staff, really friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The food was also very good, it would be nice to have a separate lunch menu at the Chumbo restaurant and perhaps some smaller, snack style options but the quality of everything we ate was superb. Very clean all round, room cleaning of high standard. Very clean pool. We went in term time so few children and relatively quiet. About 10 minutes from Palma so easy to visit and some excellent restaurants in the area recommended by the hotel staff. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was peaceful and quiet. Attentive staff. Lovely big rooms and a private balcony. Obviously due to the current situation there were hardly any other guests there so most days we had the pools to ourselves. Sara at breakfast was particularly lovely, happy to have a chat and left a great impression, remembered our morning drinks order after the 2nd day. Being there was no buffet service breakfast was ordered from a menu of what would normally be out, the system worked very well. The Chumbo cafe did a great lunch, excellent beef wrap and Caesar salad. Though I will say €18 for two ice creams, a Fanta limon and a bottle of water did seem expensive for a poolside snack! Check in and out very easy, again staff super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting the island with a hire car. Very easy to Palma and local spots like Puerto Portals.

Beautiful hotel. Only downside was that it is quite a way from any shops, restaurants and beaches. We had to spend a lot on cabs although we did find the buses were very good also. If you want somewhere to stroll to in the evening then there is nothing around. If you are happy to stay in the grounds then the restaurant is lovely but quite expensive.

Lovely mini break
Our 3 night break was a last minute booking, and we decided to go back to the Lindner after a lovely week spent there in August last year. It’s a fabulous hotel, and they have really stepped up with both the food and decor in the last year.

Didn't like the fact that I was going to be in a room overlooking the car park! According to them it had a view of the golf course if you had a ladder that you could climb. Had to upgrade which cost a lot of money. Also nothing else near to eat/drink unless you were fit & could walk to Portal Nous or the Marina. Not good if you are elderly. The menu at the poolside bar could have included more simple food. Breakfast was good but appeared to go on all morning which was a loss of revenue for the Hotel. Didn't appreciate duck in swimming pool & sparrows at breakfast. I love my garden & birds but not whilst eating!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff!
This hotel is situated close to beaches and not far from the airport or Palma. Free parking was a plus for us. The staff are very attentive, however slight language barrier made one of my meals a bit expensive. Asked for a cheese and salad sandwich with fries for room service, got a plain cheese sandwich with a massive bowl of salad and no fries! Ended up paying 15 euros for a sandwich as not a fan of salad on its own so couldnt eat it. However the reception staff are super friendly and did provide help whenever needed. Pool area is nice and rooms will be refurbished in November making it an overall brilliant hotel soon :)

Lovely hotel surrounded by golf course
The hotel is very well run and takes the form of an African Safari Lodge comprising three timber clad low level buildings. All the buildings overlook the large grassy area around a very blue swimming pool and pool bar. The food is excellent and breakfast is served until 12pm. All this creates a very relaxed atmosphere in which you can really enjoy your holiday at your own pace. There is also a spa and I enjoyed a 50min sports massage. The set up and team were great. Whilst you can walk to several beaches taxis from the hotel were reasonable with a cost of 6/7 euros to Port Portals and 15/16 euros into Palma. Overall a great trip. They are going to be closed from November to Feb to update 100 rooms with their African theme so if should be even better next year.

Amazing stay a beautiful hotel with excellent staff . sylvia at reception helped me extend my stay and gave me an upgrade all the rooms are stunning and comfortable beds . The food is tasty and beautiful and healthy options the breakfast buffets is one of the best I ever had generous and you won’t need lunch later. The pool is heavenly great sunbeds and towels provided I had friends for lunch to visit with children and they are impressed how child friendly such a sophisticated hotel also was . Good showers and left luggage if you have a late flight you can stay all day after checkout . They could not be more helpful friendly professional and relaxing. Good location to walk to illetes port Portals buses to Palma and great local supermarket gym tennis club

First class hotel
This is a first class hotel! We stayed as a family of 4 for 4 nights in a wonderful spacious room. Quality linens, comfy bed and oversized balcony. The staff here were fantastic! Every one we dealt with were incredibly friendly, helpful, polite and smiling all the time. We ate in both restaurants and the food was extremely good with a varied menu. The pool area was lovely, plenty of shade amongst the trees and fresh pool towels on demand. The hotel is only 5 mins drive from the port, so very handy. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. Thank you Hotel Lindner for very enjoyable stay!

Good hotel with great facilities
Exceptionally well attentive staff very friendly and cannot do enough to help. Food excellent especially the bbq Saturday evening with good music. Pool and gardens clean and lots of beds available in shade when needed. Service around pool and pool restaurant excellent. Highly recommend and certainly would return on next visit to the island.

Peaceful hotel for chilling and relaxing
We had a fabulous 5 nights at the Lindner. The pool and the landscaped area around it is done in such a way that it never seems busy. Everything is well looked after and there were plenty sun beds with padded mats even when the Germans were reserving their sun beds hours before they intended to use them. We were half board and although there was not a huge amount of choice each evening, all the food we had was excellent. Only one small complaint and that was that our terrace was on the side of the hotel driveway and despite a grass area and a hedge separating us from the drive, in the late afternoon and early evening cars, especially taxis, roared up and down it and it was very noisy. Speeds bumps might slow the traffic down to a more acceptable noise level.

Beautiful hotel
Stunning hotel, very spacious rooms and plenty or room around the pool. Location is a bit of an up and downhill walk from the beach, but very close to bus services and taxis' towards Palma or Westwards.

Nice hotel in a good location
This hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Palma but it is located in a very pretty town. Good start from this hotel to visit the island. Nice breakfast and a recommended restaurant ( closed on mondays and tuesdays).

Excellent hotel also close to Palma
Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens, great swimming pool & close to Portals Nous marina & also easy access to Palma. Attractive, peaceful hotel with all the facilities you would expect & the breakfast was excellent. Good sized rooms with balcony, fridge & internet. 15 - 20 minutes walk to Portal Nous marina & beach area but the bus stop was also close by If you don't want to walk- also easy to get to Palma- regular service & cheap too. Pool restaurant served a wide range of food & staff were very helpful & friendly. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay & found plenty of sun beds. Plenty of good restaurants to eat nearby & supermarket across the road.
