nice locationPosted 28-Jun-2014
this hotel has a great location; about 10 min drive from the airport and it's couple of minutes walking distance from the amazing beach and all the little shops and restaurants by the beach. If you're not looking for a luxurious hotel, but just a place to sleep and store your luggage, then this hotel is just fine. The rooms are clean and the staff really great (especially the lovely german lady at the reception). There were lots of germans staying in this area.

weekend awayPosted 18-Nov-2013
Pros: ideally situated for airport, beach and transport to other resorts and palma. rooms were very nice and the evening entertainment was very good
Cons: the main thing to improve the hotel would be to keep hot food hot this was the big let down
Location: location was a stones throw from beach you could hop on a bus to el arenal or palma and it was inexpensive
hotel roc leo was ideally situated for airport and beach. staff were not happy but were helpful. rooms were comfortable and very clean. food served at breakfast was plentiful but was cold which wasss a bit of a let down. would think about staying here again if they could keep food hot

Value for the money - centrally locatedPosted 26-Aug-2013
Pros: Close to the beach (2 minutes walking distance), 7 minutes from the airport (Bus 21 takes directly to the hotel - get down at Hotel Java), Show Time.
Cons: Increase the size and furnishing of the rooms, facilities in the room - like kettle, mini bar, toileteries, television with digitial channels.
Location: Location is very close to the beach with all the key beach holiday requirements - water sports, para sailing. However the location is German dominated
We recently went for a family holiday to Mallorca and were pleased that we booked the hotel at this area of Palma. The hot weather was perfect for this kind of a beach holiday. The hotel and the beach was a perfect for a family holiday and kids enjoyed playing on a kids friendly and safe beach. We are satisifed with our experience of a beach holiday and when we first got off near the hotel, the entire family said 'WoW' - we came to the right holiday destination - complete relaxation with music and dance all around the beach.

Ok hotelPosted 7-Jul-2013
Good location close to airport but very basic hotel. Will not save on cab fare as they charge a minimum fee from airport. Breakfast was good.

I was only here for a night, otherwise I would have moved. The room was pretty basic and the hotel overall has seen better days. I booked it because it seemed close to the airport, but this actually involved a E15 taxi trip. The staff were generally very good and the dinner and breakfast buffet were varied.

close to beach and shopsPosted 23-May-2013 on Hotels.com
This was our 4th year to stay at hotel Roc Leo and as always we really enjoyed our stay, the staff were very helpful, courteous, and friendly , our room was spotless and cleaned every day. The restaurant was again spotless and the service excellent and the staff very polite and helpful, the hotel is located very close to the beach and shops and you can book tours and excursions from the hotel lobby from reps who make sure that you get the best deals on offer, overall it was value money and I look forward to our return again next year.

First off - a €15 trip from the airport - daft. Then I was told I could lock my bike outside (it was in a bike bag and I was merely asking to use the luggage room instead of trying to jam it into the tiny lifts). The bed was horrific. No wi-fi. Other than that it was clean and served the purpose - I just definitely wouldn't call this a 'hotel'.

Great for no frills breakPosted 30-Mar-2013
Pros: Closeness to airport
Cons: Dated interior design
Well we just stayed in this hotel for two nights. Staff were polite. Room was very clean, had an issue with plug sockets there was only one that the tv was plugged into, and one in the bathroom that was unable to use because it turned the light off if you plugged the English pin adapter in. We had the bed and breakfast option which was ok tendered for everyone's tastes. The area of can pastilla was pleasantly surprising as it is very close to the airport, but beautiful beach and good amount of bars and restaurants. Didn't notice airplane noise much. Heavy German influence in the area but had no issue with that. Would recommend catching number 21 bus from airport as only 3k away costs 2.50 euro otherwise will get stung by taxi for minimum price of 17.00 when clock said 6.50.
