This beachfront hotel on the Costa del Sol is 4 km (2.5 miles) from the Torremolinos resort area and 15 km (9 miles) from Malaga. It is named after the Torre Quebrada watch tower, built by the Moors 500 years ago, and within view of the hotel.
This 11-floor hotel comprises 2 buildings, originally built in 1988 and renovated in 2011. Hotel Torrequebrada offers 2 circular pools by the sea and is adjacent to a golf course. Two sun-drenched beaches—one semi-private, the other with water sports—are also available (the hotel has direct access). The large casino has its own restaurant. Other dining options include the Pavillón Restaurant and the Café Royal, both with ocean views and summertime outdoor dining. Room service is available with limited hours.
The hotel's Spa Torrequebrada covers 400 square meters and features a sauna, massage rooms, Vichy shower, hydromassage baths, beauty treatments, indoor heated pool with jets, and a fitness facility. Pavillón Restaurant - A breakfast buffet and a la carte lunch are served in this restaurant overlooking the sea. In summer, the terrace is available for alfresco dining. The menu highlights Mediterranean and international cuisines. The sunny restaurant, surrounded by palm trees and tropical plants, has cane furniture, marble floors, and a large print of a parrot on the wall.
Café Royal - Innovative Mediterranean cuisine is served in this gourmet dining room with ocean and garden views. Decor includes blue mirrored “icicles” and a color scheme of sky-blue and white. In summer, fresh fish is barbecued outdoors.
Grill Casino - Located in the casino, this restaurant has a Spanish and international menu. Highlights include Andalusian Gazpacho, Chateaubriand with Bearnaise Sauce, and, for dessert, Mango and Coconut Tart.
Yuan - Serves a variety of Asian dishes, including Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. Seats 90 people.
Piano Bar - Live entertainment is presented nightly. The room has coral walls, black-marble accents, and green-and-orange sofas. A terrace overlooks the sea.

Recreation
Two circular outdoor pools face the ocean. The hotel offers access to two beaches, one offering a wide array of water sports. Guests can exercise in the gym or on one of the stationary bikes by the indoor pool. A tennis court is on site. Discounts are available at area golf courses.

Nice enough hotel - not 5* and not much to look at from the outside but the pool area, BBQ nights and area were amazing. Free parking was a bonus. Beds a little uncomfortable and walls a bit thin but you get over that. Would definitely go back, ideal place to be with a 7 month old.

“Great place to stay costa del sol”
What made this hotel extra special was the staff, we've stayed at other five star hotels equally as nice, but the staff were so helpful, any request was greeted with a positive attitude. The hotel has many restaurant options, we tried three and all were above our expectations. Also, we liked the hotel location, a little away from the main throngs of people, but close enough to walk into the action. Hope to go back.

The public areas of this hotel are definitely 5 star,our bedroom had been refurbished. Eating there is pricey but convenient. There are cafes and supermarket 5 min walk away if you want to economise. The indoor pool is useful if the weather isn't so good. The beaches are not up to much, don't stay here if you are after a nice beach. Did enjoy watching the surfers though. Staff very friendly and helpful, my daughter and I had a lovely break here, but it was off season and quiet, which we wanted.

Slightly outdated, but excellent hotel in great location. Food and shows were great. Walking distance to convenience stores and restaurants. Excellent, helpful staff. Good public transportation available as parking is very limited in local area.
“OCTOBER BREAK”
Hotel reception area very impressive and staff efficient and helpful. Room very comfortable and clean and all in good order. Breakfast was rather basic but continental breakfast ok. Gardens and pools well kept and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. As it was out of season the pool bar was unfortunately closed. Staff were friendly and polite and eager to please. The chinese restaurant in the hotel was excellent. The casino was fun with rather a lot of slot machines but there were roullette and poker and blackjack tables as well. Although the hotel is a bit remote there is a supermarket nearby, an excellent beach bar called Pierinos and a great restaurant called La Carla. A 5 min taxi ride will take you to the main strip of bars and restaurants or a bus can be picked up outside the hotel. Overall a great week and we had no complaints so would definately go back and recommend this hotel to others.
