The Monte Málaga Hotel has a pleasant bar-cafeteria with room service available from 7:30 a.m. to 23 p.m. The El Puerto restaurant offers an à la carte menu and every day, a generous buffet breakfast is available with show cooking, including buns, pastries and cakes, different kinds of freshly baked bread, fruit and fresh products, fruit juices, hot dishes and a wide range of natural oils.

We offer companies and businesses eight rooms with capacities for up to 450 people, for congresses and conventions, events, training courses, meetings and product presentations. Rooms in the Monte Malaga Hotel (Malaga)
The 179 rooms in the Monte Málaga Hotel, most of which have sea views, are decorated in an elegant and practical yet cosy style. Standard rooms, with surface areas of 31 sq m, have air conditioning and heating, a 32-inch screen for satellite TV and Digital +, hi-fi equipment, an outside telephone line, mini bar, individual safe, free of charge, pillows menu and a desk with Internet connection (both wireless and cable). The bathroom has a hair dryer and make-up mirror, as well as a wide range of amenities. You can also stay in our Junior Suites, with surface areas of 42 sq m, which also have a pleasant lounge and TV, a terrace of 24 sq m with sea views and a whirlpool bathtub in the bathroom. Guests also have the option of staying in a Suite with a useful surface area of 100 sq m exquisitely decorated in classic style, with a large lounge dining room, dressing room next to the bedroom, a terrace of 45 sq m with sea views and a sauna and Jacuzzi in the bathroom. During your stay at our hotel, we offer room service which is available from 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 p.m. without interruption. We also have rooms in areas specially conditioned for smokers and rooms with welcome products for women executives.
At the Monte Málaga Hotel, you have a selection of double rooms with a double bed or twin beds, triple rooms (double rooms with an extra bed) and the option of adjoining rooms. There are also free cots for infants.

“Very pleased, would return anytime”
Facilities were clean and modern. We really enjoyed the indoor pool area with sauna, steam room and contrast showers foc. The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The hotel was an easy 15 minute walk to the main part of town which we were happy with as it hopefully helped burn off some of the tapas and beers we consumed at nights.
“Great for winter breaks”
Chose this hotel carefully as it was the only one with a winter roof on the swimming pool & if it is a Winter break with children, it means that they can be satisfied at all times. Technically a business hotel, it is ideal for families, as it is not too far from the old Malaga with its forts & roman ruins, but also between 2 swimmable beaches. Opposite a working commercial port, so always something going on outside the window. Rooms predictably hotel modern, but clean, well appointed & extremely comfortable. I went with a grandson who was happy & occupied all the time. I shall return soonish with a very aged father! Finally, all the staff are helpful and charming.
“Impressed”
A very modern hotel with wonderful large rooms containing most modern features. The hotel is a little away from the town itself but I found this to be a good thing. The room itself looked onto an atrium and had a beautifully appointed bathroom. Lots of space, good tv with many channels (including modern movies) and a CD player. Mini bar good and not badly priced. Beds nice and comfortable and room itself tastefully decorated. I found service from the staff to be patchy, some helpful some not - for example, and you have to be careful this isn't a language issue, I was told on arrival (having driven from Cordoba) that I had no reservation - on further questioning he meant I should come back after 3pm! The bar staff were a little off hand too and not very atttentive - at one point I walked away without being served. However, the facilities are excellent, swimming pool and solarium clean and accessible. The hotel has a nice clean and wholesome feel to it.
“Convenient location for the station”
good location for travel from the airport or anywhere via the railway station, therefore also good for picking up hire cars. 10 minutes walk from town centre, some nice local cafes/bars nearby. Most rooms have sea-view (over the port area). Rooms very comfortable, with good facilities. Only thing I would have liked to be there but wasn't - coffee making facilities. was satisfied with stay and VFM.

Overlooks the docks/ferry which is interesting. Lovely big window - fab shower! Not a lot of information re room service; food etc which I would have liked

The front desk was polite, helpful and informative. The restaurant had a good selection, reasonable and the food tasted great. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. The service was considerate and one step ahead of us when asked for anything. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wished to stay a short walk from the beach.

“Visiting our daughter in Malaga”
Excellent location. Extremely clean room with a very comfortable bed. We had asked for a quiet room and we certainly got that. We did not hear a sound from any of the other guests. There was fresh fruit waiting for us on our arrival. The only thing missing was the ability to make coffee or tea in the room, but I have yet to find a Spanish hotel with that facility! The flat scrren television was bigger than the one we have at home.

Excellent, staff were fantastic. We had one small problem with our keycard which was fixed immediately. Would definitely go again.
