“Superb location in Marbella”
Great hotel in an excellent location - 3 mins walk to beach - 5 mins to Orange Square! Would certainly go back there if returning to Marbella.
“Very good value”
Hotel is in a great location, very near to the beach in Marbella near the old town. Hotel is clean and the room's are spacious. Hotel staff were all very helpful and nice except to woman on reception in the mornings. She was unhelpful and moody. Breakfast isn't great but there are lots of places nearby to eat. Very please with the hotel - great location and value for money. would definately stay again.
“Affordable hotel in great location - awful breakfast”
We stayed in this hotel from 30 May - 8 June and I can only recommend it! From our big balcony we saw a bit of the sea and a bit of Sierra Blanca mountain. I didn't use the gym or the swimming pool outside, but the terrace is nice. The breakfast itself was really bad, I agree with previous comments! The orange juice is made from squash and there is no cold meat fresh fruit selection at all: you only get to choose from sliced breads, croissants, donuts, jams and some tinned butter, liver pate or tomato puree with bacon. The staff was nice and helpful, when we wanted to hire a car, they immediately sorted it. They used Crown Cars, and for the price of a basic car (50 euros) we got a Peugeout 207 with aircon for 1 day. The bed is comfy the room is clean, the hotel is safe - what else you could wish for? My only problem with Marbella is that the sea is freezing!
“A pleasant surprise”
For a short break in January all we were looking for was a cheap and cheerful hotel in a good position. this hotel met each of these requriements and more. It's position was superb, a little over 100 metres to the beach and promenade, with so many good restaurants within 5mins walk, and the town centre a very easy walk in the opposite direction. the old town only 5mins away. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, from cleaner through to management. The contintental breakfast was very presentable with a very good choice of all things contintental, with the breakfast area kept very clean throughout the breakfast period - which was a very sociable 8am - 11am. It also had a spacious patio area at the rear - on the sunny side, and a bigger than expected swimming pool. On the whole as good a three star hotel as you will find in the area.
“good value for money”
Good quality 3 star hotel with rooms that are generally well-maintained and thoroughly cleaned. Helpful friendly staff at reception. Breakfast good but room rather small and could be a nightmare at height of season; used breakfast items not always cleared away quickly by staff.
“No frills”
I found the hotel to be of the basic no frills variety. On the negative side, my room could have done with a lick of paint and maybe a deep clean behind thehard reach places. The kitchen utensils have also seen better days. On the postive side the room was made up well. The hotel cleaners ensured the sand I was careless to bring back from the beach was removed daily. The bed was made up how I liked it- I did not ask for this, the maid picked up on how I arranged the bed linen. I found the hotel reception staff to be courteous with out being overly friendly. Finally, the location of the hotel was excellent, postioned one block from the beach front in, what I felt to be, a safe area of town. I would stay again.
“Close to beach”
Good, clean hotel. Continental breakfast was modest at only coffee, juice and toast/croissant.
“Great Location!”
V.Happy with location, but it could get noisey late night in summer ..walls a bit thin but overall just want we wanted for price.
“cheap and cheerful”
This hotel was perfectly fine for a holiday in Marbella and I'm sure a lot cheaper than most. Our room was simple, a really good size and clean. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was working. The kitchen was fine for making snacks and had a fridge. Breakfast isn't great which made the kitchenette even handier. The hotel doesn't mention this for some reason but it has a small pool and sun loungers available. it also has a nice outdoor seating area. It's location is also spot on. Be aware that it's pretty hard to park in Marbella and the hotel doesn't have parking.
“More than we were looking for”
I went to Marbella with 5 friends and was looking for a crash pad where we could shower, sleep, and hit the road again. The hotel was exceptional. It was plenty big with a nice bathroom, and a little kitchenette nook. The room was cleaned daily, and was a 5 minute walk from the beach. For the price I don't think there is any better.
