“dona lola”

this was a short 4 day break , overall it was excellent , but the areas of concern were the following you have to pay extra for the electricity you use and the resort is very close to a very busy road BUT , apart from the two points above it is great value for money , with spa - gym - tennis - pools - nice gardens - cafes - restaurants all on site if you fancy a walk , calahondre is a twenty min stroll , or you can get the bus up to the village of mijhas which is a fantastic day trip with cracking views . shopping / bars / cafe /

“Cannot wait to go back”

Excellent location right by sea front. Attractive complex, you didnt feel on top of your neighbours. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which slept 4 people comfortably, fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher and air conditioning. The tv had all the channels you get at home, a bonus to be able to watch favorite programmes. The outdoor swimming pool was massive and again well presented. There were lots of places to eat out locally within easy reach. Would definitley wish to go back there. The only downside was you have to pay for the electricity you use.

“Extra special”

We stayed at the Dona Lola for the New Year 2011/12 - we had a lovely time - the apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. The weather made our trip extra special as it sun shined the whole time we were there - the resort was very quiet and we sunbathed (all 5 of us) on our own, at the pool, overlooking the Mediterranean - It was heaven and we loved every minute of our time spent at the Dona Lola - will be back in October !! cant wait !!!

“excellent long weekend”

Lovely apartment, although only 2 of us in a 1 bed, the double sofa bed could easily have been used if 4 people occupying, and the room was plenty big enough for it to be left made up all the time. The beds in the twin bedroom were comfortable, the apartment was very well equipped. I would definitely recommend the restaurant for a meal in the evening and the cafe bar for breakfast. I didn't use the indoor leisure facilities but they too looked fabulous/ To round it off, the staff were splendid and had the not often seen "can do" attitude

Arrivée tardive a l'hotel,trés bon accueil le personel fait des éfforts pour communiquer en francais,chambre je dirai plutot petit appartement avec cuisine équipée,salle de bain,salon avec une superbe vue sur mer à 50m ainsi q'une petite plage - restaurant pres piscine et plage acceuillant prix raisonnable. je recommande ce contexte à 30 mn de l'aéroport - parking sur place.

Séjour de reve, cadre magnifique, personnel très acceuillant. La qualité du service et la beauté de l'hotel feront que j'y retournerai surement!

“Large and clean apartments”

A very clean and very spacious two bedroom apartment. All rooms were very large and the added bonus of two bathrooms was a welcome feature. Perhaps the one downside was although the balcony was large it didnt seem to get much sun. The electricity was perhaps a little steep at 30 euros for a weeks stay when we didnt even use the air con. There was a small beach at the bottom of the complex, but there was a better beach around a mile and half away at Cobopino. The restaurants on the complex were great especially the Italian - I think this was called Da Vinci. Couldnt comment on the outdoor pools, although they looked great the water was too cold in early April to use them. The indoor facilities were good, pool, jacuzzi, two saunas and a steam room. There is a little tourist train from across the road at the Supersol market runnin Monday to Friday but

A lovely complex that seemed generally well maintained.Access by car was initially quite confusing but soon got used to the odd junctions from the main road.If hotel internet access is required then take a laptop or there is free Wifi at the adjoining pub (Oscars Bar).Plenty of dining options including a very good Chinese (Hong Kong) within walking distance to the west of the entrance.All-weather Tennis Courts doubled for football which was great for kids but locked-up when not supervised ,which was a real pity.
