“Great Malaga Airport hotel”
The hotel is both close to the airport and the beach front where there is a variety of restaurants and nightlife. Be warned, however, that the airport cab fares are pretty badly inflated.
“would go back again”
hotel good ,food could be better, bit too far out from bars n restaurants ,needs a courtousy room for later flights after being out all day
“Nice Hotel in South of Spain”
I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and 4 nights and overall I was impressed. I stayed there with my husband and infant son. We had 1 room with 3 twin beds. The staff was very helpful and friendly and spoke English well. It was about a 15 minute walk to the beach and we could take the train into the center of Torremolinos. (The train is about a 5 min walk from the hotel.) Torremolinos is what you would expect from a resort town. I reccomend renting a car and driving to neighboring cities for sightseeing. On one of the nights the hotel had some Flamenco dancres perform which was quite nice. On the other nights the entertainment was limited, but the kids staying there seemed to enjoy it. The food wasn't bad, in fact it was evident that they do teir best to provide variety and good presentation. For the price I was more than satisfied overall with the hotel.
“Very Convenient”
Great hotel food and facilities excellent. Great place to base yourself with train service running past to Fuengirola one way and the airport and Malaga the other. Would certainly look at staying here again.
“Very nice”
The hotel was very nice and in an excellent location.
“Great Hotel”
We stayed at Royal Costa at the end of our trip and it was great. It was close enough to walk down to the beach or into town but it was in a nice quiet area as well. The room was very bright and comfortable. It was a great stay!
“Truly a Spanish Hotel”
Spent a very relaxing week at the Costa Royal, the staff are very helpful and welcoming, food plentiful but the wine is expensive. Only problem no cushions on the sunbeds or patio chairs. However if you are looking for a really spanish hotel in this is the one. Transport links are great as the cosal train is just round the corner.
“Clean great location for train line”
Great clean hotel with very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Food was ok a bit boring after a couple of days, the hot plate only kept food warm not hot! Overall a nice hotel in a good location for the beach, train line etc.
“Great place to stay.”
Two stops down from Malga Airport by train (1 euro 35 cents single) the Royal Costa Hotel is a 2 minute walk from Los Alamos train station. It is situated in a residential area which is very neat and tidy. Just up a little hill there a a coulple of bars and cafes which offer really good value for money. The hotel itself is neat and tidy, has a large outdoor pool and a nice restuarant. Thje only little niggle I had was there was no tea/coffee making facilities in my room. Apart from that I would stay there again.
“Excellent small hotel and reasonable!”
We stayed here on June 3 and 18 for one night each. Very attractive hotel in a residential apartment area. Rooms were immaculate! Best we have seen. Not large but certainly adequate. Most courteous reception. Turned out price per night included both dinner and breakfast! Food was cafeteria style, varied and very good. (Excellent beef bourginon, for example.) Parking in area is all on street and is difficult due a hospital just down the block but when hospital visitors go home, becomes easier.

Area:
Torremolinos, Spain: There is more than meets the stereotype to this Anglo-centric seaside resort. While most of Torremolinos is a brash high-rise heaven for fun-loving Brits, the low-rise western part is patronised by the Spanish and has a very different character. Soft golden sands stretch either side of town and there is a huge choice of entertainments by day and night. Aquapark is a white-knuckle water world; Tivoli World is the regions major theme park.
