“Highly recommended for a relaxing break”
Hotel rooms are of a very high standard, clean and comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast seated outside overlooking the sea. Nice grounds and surrounding area and right next to promenade with easy access to restaurants on the seafront and in the Old Town. Evening entertainment of the cabaret variety aimed at the mature guest gives a relaxing alternative to pubbing and clubbing.
“enjoyed Marbella stay”
Hola! Yes, we enjoyed our El Fuente Marbella stay BUT wow is Costa Del Sol crowded at the end of July and 1st week of August! The hotel is the first hotel in a long string of hotels, so our beach front area was very quiet compared to down the street. The room was ample for 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel is family oriented and family friendly and the hotel staff wonderful. Each night there was different entertainment on their outdoor patio and your can drink a glass of wine for only 3 euros. Walk across the street to old town, don't miss the great dining there! The hotel buffet breakfast was fabulous - from champagne, hot, cold breakfast to tables of pastries and breads. Don't waste your money eating at the hotel dinner buffet - go down the street and eat on the beach or in old town. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, don't go in July or August!
“Right on the water”
This is a great place to stay in if you like to be right on the beach, and still have the poolside service of your hotel. The outdoor garden area is perfect for spending time in the sun. Being on the promenade makes it easy to walk to the many nearby restaurants. Plus, you can walk out the other side of the hotel and be in the Old Town area.
“would definitely book again”
great central location, friendly english-speaking staff. Evening entertainment was better suited to older guests (50+). didn't have evening meal in hotel, but breakfast was superb. watch out for the sunbeds on the beach....they try to charge you extra for them. overall, i would definitely book again.

Très bon hôtel. Situation centrale idéale pour profiter de Marbella et du quartier historique, personnel professionnel, attentionné et très agréable, beau buffet de petits déjeuners, chambre avec vue mer magnifique. Ambiance de palace andaloux de qualité, c'est un hôtel qui a une âme ! on s'y sent bien.

“Fabulous hotel in a great location - would definitely go again”
This is a fantastic hotel - it is right on the beach and close to the old town where there are lots of lovely restaurants. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was out of this world - everything you can imagine on offer including Cava! We only ate dinner in the hotel once - it was good, buffet style but expensive in comparison to eating out. The room was very comfortable and the sea view is amazing. One word of advice - the hair dryer in the bedroom was not powerful so took awhile to dry your hair so I would take my own if I went again. The safe in the room was free and you also get free wireless which is a nice extra. There are plenty of sun beds and you can choose to go around one of the two pools or in a lovely grassed area - all of this a stone throw from the beach. Beach towels are provided. There was entertainment in the hotel but we felt it was aimed at an older clientele although the hotel caters for a wide age group. There is a good gym and classes such as spinning are free to residents. If I went back to Marbella I would very happily stay here again.

We loved the location of this hotel. On the promenade with lots of restaurants close by, and a short walk from Marbella "old town" with a lovely atmosphere and plenty of shops, bar and restaurants. The hotel was clean and all the staff were extremely helpful and professional. We holiday 4/5 times a year and our expectations have become high. This hotel satisfied us in every way. There was a nice atmosphere and a "can do" attitude from everyone who served us. Our bedroom was a bit small. We didn't opt for a side sea view, or sea view and this was probably a mistake as our outlook was at the side. and we overlooked an apartment block. Not great - but we weren't willing to pay the supplement and didn't spend much time in the room anyway., We played golf at Rio Real (three times), which was a short taxi journey away (Euros 10). The course was in superb condition and we were able to obtain reduced green fees for two people that included a buggy through the hotel. We also played at Santa Clara (once), again short taxi journey away (Euros 12). We didn't enjoy the course as much as Rio Real but it was in good condition. Transfers through Marbella Taxis (which we found on the internet) were reliable and reasonable. A thoroughly lovely break in the Spanish sunshine! You won't be disappointed if you stay at this hotel!
