“trés bon”
5/5
“"Enjoyed our stay"”
The best short break in a long time. The hotel is good value for money with the exception of the buffet dinner which is expensive for the range on offer. The breakfast on the other hand is fantastic value and of a very high standard. The room is clean and well furnished and even has a small well equipped kitchenette where snacks could be prepared. The pool area is a little congested and the pool is universally deep with no shallow area for small children. Its a short walk to the beach and promenade with a pleasant walk into Marbella. Will book again!
“Bars”
We were very impressed when we got to the hotel, I was somewhat worried after reading other reviews but the staff were all very helpful and friendly and the room was spotless including the jacuzzi. Luckily the hotel wasn't that busy so was quite peaceful and the breakfast was fantastic, a huge choice! Drinks are expensive in the hotel, but then they would be in a 4/5* in London so we couldn't complain. We didn't eat at the hotel apart from breakfast as we heard it was expensive.
“Would definitely recommend this hotel...”
Very efficient checking in service, with very polite staff who smile. The added bonus being that were upgraded to a junior suite, whether this was because we have stayed before, we're not sure, but it was a very welcome surprise. Even more so because we had two friends with us and they also got upgraded. Definitely gives you the incentive to go back. The Tapas bar within the hotel is fabulous, the food and service is spot on, especially if your'e lucky enough to be in when David is working. Breakfast was great too, everything you'd expect from a top notch hotel. We will defintely go back for a third time. Cant wait.
“A quality hotel”
The photos do not do the hotel justice - a quality hotel, good location, friendly staff, fantastic room (2 bedroom suite with jacuzzi) and a great breakfast. The pool was 'ice cold' and the evening buffet overpriced with a limited choice (25 Euros each including children). Previous comments mentioned the drinks very expensive, which they are but on a par with other restaurants / hotels, although no problem in visiting local supermarket and storing in the room (fully equipped). Puerto Banus only short 10 mins taxi journey, costing 10 Euros (we actually took a long stroll along the beach one evening which took 1 hour - but very pleasant watching the sun go down). I have certainly stayed in some 'poor hotels' but would rate this as 'quality'. The driving instructions could be clearer. A couple of nice bars along the beach, very reasonable priced drinks.
“A true 5* hotel”
A lovely hotel: beautiful suite with a huge balcony & a great breakfast (with champagne & smoked salmon on offer every day). A 5 minute walk from the beach, but a little way out of the town centre - a hire car was very useful.
“Best Service in Marbella!”
Hotel was reletively quiet for a weekend in late June, but this simply made the holiday even better. Room was immaculate, Staff were so helpful and the location couldn't have been better. Food was very good - would reccommend this hotel to all.
“Very relaxing couple of nights”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was peaceful and relaxing but close to town and the beach. Would defintely go again.
“satisfied for family holidays”
You need pay more if you want to upgrade room with ocean view
“best breakfast in spain (say fussy children)”
Slightly faded glory was more than made up for by the quality of the breakfast (!), the convenience of the family suite, and the helpfulness of the staff. The two bedroom suite was a great size for a family of four with large living area and generous balcony. Walk to sea was about 5 mins, and to get to central marbella and sandy beach about 10 (longer on way home!) We went off-peak so cannot vouch for how well it coped with a full hotel but would definitely go back.
