“Cozy, Charming, and Excellent Location"”
This is an excellent hotel in an excellent location. The hotel is right across the bridge. The parador is on the other side of the bridge. It is decorated beautifully. It is very modern with a beautiful tiled bathroom. There is a bakery attached and a nice patio with tables and chairs in front. The breakfast was great. We had to leave to catch our train before the regular breakfast time, they set up for breakfast early so we could get our breakfast before we left. The furnishings are rich and beautiful. We also had a double bed. We stayed 24 days in Spain and Portugal and most of our beds were 2 twin beds pushed together with separate sheets and bedspreads. The room had a mini fridge and shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion were provided. It was quiet and cozy. The hotel staff was excellent. In 24 days in Spain and Portugal, we stayed at 10 different hotels, this one was by far one of the best. It is an excellent value for what you get. We loved it. Stay here, it's great.
“Value for money”
Not a 5-star, but a solid 2+ with an elevator. Small, basic, immaculate, well-located, economical. Comfortable beds, reasonable size rooms. Staff speaks minimal English, but is eager, enthusiastic, and manages to communicate adequately. No breakfast available, but great coffee and croissants available two minutes away. Staff suggestions for tasty and inexpensive tapas bars excellent. Not the Ritz, but excellent value for the price.
“Wonderful”
This hotel is beautifully situated right over the town's bridge - which is the reason most people visit Ronda. Our room, although small for a triple, was extremely well-appointed and clean. This was not a sterile, character-less room. Our corner room had 2 walls that were actually huge doors, 1 of which had an incredible view. This hotel is close to everything worth seeing. The bathroom was very large and modern. The people at the front desk were difficult to find. They seem to work at the hotel and the attached restaurant. However, they were very friendly and helpful. To us, Ronda was well worth the trip, we were only there 1 night, but it was a wonderful break from the larger, tourist-ridden cities. The town and this hotel were extremely charming.
