“Hotel et infrastructures super.”
Pour le prix que nous avons acheté ce séjour au costa del sol à mijas, il ne faut pas se priver.
“Great package holiday”
Great resort. If you wanted to you could spend your holiday inside the resort without leaving as has many restaurants, bars, ATM machine, minimart, cafe, excursions (although most of them are during the week days). A tunnel that takes you under the highway directly to the beach and has a half hour train that can take you around the resort because it truly is massive - about 7 different resorts in one! We asked for adouble bed and got a two storeyed apartment with kitchen, washing machine, TV with English channels, two deck chairs, outdoor table and chairs and a spare room!
“Brilliant Stay”
I loved this place. It wasn't at all what i had expected. Lovely location, really friendly and helpful reception staff, nice facilities and the restaurants served lovely food which in my opinion was fairly priced. The entertainment each evening was good as well. There is also a games room where you can play games like, ice hockey, pool or even pinball. Its great for children and adults alike, depending on your sense of fun. The beach is not far away and you can tell that most apartments have sea views. We stayed in a studio apartment, which was really lovely and had a smashing pool, tennis court and sea view. Absolutely spectacular. Complimentary toiletries in the bathroom and a start off pack of coffee, tea, sugar and milk sachets were also left in the compact kitchenette in the studio. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The walk to Fuengirola was a pleasant one. The free train around the resort is a good idea. There are quite a few trips offered through the resort, which can be booked inside the reception area. There are local restaurants outside of the resort as well as supermarkets. This place was really nice and i would happily stay here again.
“Very relaxing holiday”
Already looking into going back next year. A really enjoyable holiday.
“Will Definitely Go Back for our 6th Time!”
I have been 5 times now and would thoroughly recommend it!!!!
“Hotel in Malaga”
Despite the rainy weather during the Christmas season in 2010, our family enjoyed the stay at this hotel thanks to its excellent comfort / service quality and welcoming atmosphere. Location is superb as well ! (brand new commercial complex next to the hotel with cinema, fantastic view, close to many tourist resorts, etc.)
“Lovely view”
We stayed there for a week and is was lovely. The staff was very nice and the facilities are good. Our apartment had a terrace with view to the sea, it was amazing. We had also parking space for the car and the neighbourhood was quiet. We didn't try any of the restaurants or bars but they seemed nice. We read some reviews and they weren't good but when we went there we found something completely different. My only criticism is, the place is on a hill and away from the closest town so you are in need of a car to move around.
“well done club la costa marina del sol”
Staff very friendly and the apartment i had was clean and tidy the maid changed the bedding and towels and cleaned the apartment during my stay and also came in a second time in the week to see if i needed the room down again. some of the resturants were closed but as i like to cook for myself it did not affect me. i would put this down to out of season and some building work was going on. have stayed at club la costa before and will be staying their again in March
“Diamond in a little bit of rough, so close to the beach, fantastic value.”
Completely surprised by the facilities considering the price of the holiday. The resort has an American feel, and caters for all age groups and holiday makers. Out of season, the entertainment is not up to much, but the variety of venues and its proximity to other towns and resorts including the fantastic beach, make up for any short comings in entertainment. The food is reasonably priced in the many restaurants available, and the quality of food is above average for the type of resort and star rating. Taxi's are required for trips into nearby towns, but trains serve the major routes once there, so it is worth asking for a map of these from reception, and it is definitely worth heading into Fuengerola, Malaga, etc. There is an onsite private Medic for peace of mind, and there are two shops selling everyday essentials as well as local produce. Wifi Internet is available around the site, but it is expensive and not very reliable. I would return to this resort, but in a different month, to get the most out of the resort.
“Great resort for the price!!”
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the reception service was great and although we were there hours before check in, we went to reception who took our contact number and sent us a text message to say the room was ready and we could check in early. We were given a nice ground floor one bedroom apartment 28A at the back of the resort with a terrace, there was not really a view apart from of a hedge but we didn't mind too much. The restaurants on site were nice we tried Zacaharys and El Tajo, some meal were expensive so we only went there as a treat. There are 3 computers in the reception area to use for internet etc. There's also a mini market to get food and drink and fresh bread. Once you exit the resort there is a beach opposite, you can either take the subway or bridge to get across the motorway. This beach was OK but there's no sunbeds or toilet, you need to walk up further in Fueringola for the nice beach. We went on the trip to Tanger in Morrocco, we booked it in a travel shop by Fueringola beach, which was much cheaper than booking with the hotel. 64 euros instead of 79 euros per person. The trip was ok but the day was filled up with a lot of travelling by bus and ferry and some walking around the town which was spoiled by the locals trying to force you to buy things. We did not go on any other trips but they did offer trips to Granada and Gibralta. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
