“Superb!, Simply Superb!!!”
Puerto Bunus!,.....who needs it? This hotel is in a fantastic location and close to the beautiful town of San Pedro. Look no further, this is all the hotel you ever needed.

The hotel was perfect for a short stay, clean, quite, and just 5 kms away from famous Puerto Banus. I would definitely recommend it!

“Great place, even if you don't golf”
My wife, 1 year old daughter and I stayed here one night in November and we were most pleased. It was too cold to use the pool, but I imagine in the summer the huge pool area would be a real treat. The room was large, the lobby huge, a great place for our daughter to run around. Breakfast was outstanding, made to order omelletes and cava were a nice touch. For a nice four star hotel we found the price to be a real bargain. Next time I will bring my golf clubs!
“Would definately go back”
I have just returned from Barcello Marbella after a week-end away with friends. The hotel was fantastic, the cleanliness of the hotel was superb & the staff very helpful. It was very quiet round the pool during the day, which I presume was because we were in a golf resort must people were playing! It would must definately consider returning.
“Wonderful hidden gem”
What a wonderful hotel. We usually stay at another hotel in the area, but decided to give this hotel a try due to the previous reviews and better offer-boy were we glad we did! The standard rooms were of ample size, bathrooms were clean and good size and the food in the restaurant(we were half board) was abundant and very good quality. We will be using this hotel in future and have strongly recommened to other friends. Other reviewers mentioned needing a car as the hotel is a bit out of the way, we used taxis and were happy to do so.

Très bel hotel, bien situé au calme. Parking payant, mais sécurisé et très abordable. Prime spéciale pour le petit déjeuner : très beau buffet varié et frais. Grande chambre avec tout le confort nécessaire.

“Lovely hotel and good value to boot!”
We stayed at the Barcelo Marbella during the last week of June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful; the room was spacious and comfortable; the facilities (e.g. gym, pool, sauna) were excellent. The hotel is perfect for a relaxing break by the pool - it was not at all crowded during our stay, although it was busier at the weekends as there seemed to be more Spanish families. The only (slight) negatives that deserve a mention are the Barcelo's food and location. The complimentary breakfast buffet is very good; however the rest of the food is average in quality and quite expensive. Drive/walk to San Pedro for a good selection of restaurants. In terms of location, the hotel is well situated for Puerto Banus (about 10 mins' drive); however without a car it is easy to feel a little stranded at the hotel. It is definitely worth hiring a car although beware that the hotel charges extra for use of its car park.
