“Exceptional Value”

We were very pleased with our stay at the Howard Johnson Suffern hotel. Since the nightly rate was so affordable, we anticipated that the hotel would be adequate at best, so we were pleasantly surprised that it was so nice! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with lots of pillows and fresh towels in addition to a personal safe, refrigerator, microwave and Cable TV. The "complementary" breakfast had a tremendous selection of food and it was supervised by staff who replenished the buffet and assisted guests. The hotel was totally booked on both nights of our Saturday to Monday stay and that speaks well for the quality and exceptional value of this facility.

“Good Place to Stay”

Since changing from Wellsley to Howard Johnson, motel has been repainted and rooms refurbished. It's conveniently located if you know the area and has great restaurants/diner nearby. In fact, you can walk through a passageway to Friendly, a great place to eat. This motel is cheaper than most in this area. It also serves breakfast; we didn't eat there but it smelled good.

“Satisfied”

This hotel is unexpected excellent with this price. The room is big, bed is comfortable, location is convenient. The only unsatisfied is breakfast. but I can't expect more with this price. Will choose this hotel next time!

“Not suffering in Suffern”

Friendly staff, hot waffles to make yourself. Could have been more fresh fruit as it disappeared before I could get some on both days we where there. Convenient to restaurants and easy to get to our Trade Show. Nice to have computers and a printer to use in the lobby.

Clean, newer building, in good shape, quiet even with highway adjacent, great price ! Very good mattress in king room, TV & fridge clean & fully functional. Excellent front desk service. Big parking lot. Walk to restaurants.
