The price was very reasonable. We have stayed there before and always return because we get a good rate thru Expedia plus points. The breakfast in the am was very good. Loved those thick malted waffles.

Had a romantic fun weekend at the best Western Inn of Ramsey. No more guessing what hotel another service will put you in for me, and the surprises that come along with not knowing what hotel they will put you in!

“Very nice...could be a little cheaper”

I found this hotel to be very nice. The bathroom could have been a little bit cleaner. The breakfast was very good.

“A Nice Surprise”

We've been trying to find a hotel that had a jacuzzi (big enough for 2 adults) for the last year. We only found one other place and it received fair reviews. We decided to give this place a chance because it had received average to great reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was great and the jacuzzi was awesome. The breakfast that was included was great too! It's not often that you get hot food in from a hotel breakfast buffet that is actually hot. We stay at hotels at least once a month and normally stay at Hyatt. However, this Best Western won me over so much that whenever I'm in the area, I have decided to stay here again. Some other small things to note that were very much appreciated: 1) They let me check in at 12:30 even though check-in isn't until 4:00 pm. 2) The fresh cookies at check-in were a nice treat. 3) They always have fresh brewed coffee in the lobby. 4) We left the do-not-disturb sign on our door from Thursday until Sunday and no one bothered us. 5) When I saw the housekeeping staff in the hall Saturday morning, I asked if they would exchange our towels and they were more than happy to do it.

“Would stay again”

Great value and comfortable room. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful, with lots of choices; eggs and bacon, waffles, muffins, fresh fruit and more! The only problem was the lack of enough hot water in the shower. Would stay here again, but suggest asking for a room the furthest away from route 17 you can get to avoid road noice.

“Pleasing with a few minor hiccups”

Overall the experience was pleasing. Limited dining options nearby. Also, no double queen bed rooms on the ground floor requiring heavy bags to be hauled up the stairs for a family stay. Good cleaniliness and amenities as advertised.

“Nice for those who are able-bodied”

The hotel was kind enough to change our room to the first floor when they gave my husband the key and he asked where the elevator was. This was a not so long ago revovated hotel so who would think of no elevators. The room they gave us was an upgraded Deluxe room with a walk in shower. The room was clean and very comfortable.

We needed easy access to Ridgewood, NJ and this was just a perfect 20 minute drive. Route 17 has every business and store chain you could ever need. The hotel office staff was very helpful and the promise of coffee in the main office was great and actually hot! The room for 2 adults was just fine.

I was very happy with the hotel and the rate . The only thing that bothered me was our room was at the end of the hall near the outside entrance door. It seemed like Grand Central all night with people coming and going . Everytime someone came in or out I heard the door slam. I could have asked to have our room changed but didnt. The breakfast was great. I would stay here again.
