“Can't wait to go back”
Location: right in the center of Madrid 30 min. walk to any location that you would want to see. we went to Madrid tourist information center, asked them for a map of Madrid. The lady marked our Hotel on the map, I then folded the map into half and that into half again. When I opened the map I was happy to discover that the Vincci Soho hotel was in the middle of both fold marks. Comfort: The Vincci Soho is a modren hotel with all the benefits of any american hotel-unusual for hotels in Europe. The only compainet I have is that the shower has no curtain and you can't avoid splashing the floor with water. I would Highly recomend this Hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and got to see all of Madrid. We walked to all of our destinations. Loved the free WiFi in the rooms.
“Great location, nice little hotel”
Very modern decor... maybe a little overly designed in some sense, but very cool. Rooms are well proportioned for Madrid (read not as bad as average London/New York hotel rooms - but not generously sized). Downsides? poor room service, "brunch" was disappointingly presented (try the little argentinean place off c/Leon)
“Great hotel in centre of Madrid, highly recommended.”
I loved this hotel. I have stayed in three other hotels in the city and this is the best. It is in a lovely location, walking distance to most sights. The staff were very friendly, for example, extending my checkout without me asking. It's a very funky hotel with a lot of public areas, cosy bars, courtyard filled with sun, lounge area. I was on 6th floor and had a view from a very small corner window over rooftops. It was quiet. The only criticism is the lighting which in keeping with the funky decor, is low. Spot Lights in strategic locations such as over the luggage stand would be very helpful!
“excellent restaurant”
Food and service in restaurant were outstanding. The bedrooms are a bit small and workspace very limited - but it was quiet and comfortable, which was good for a jet-lagged traveler.
“Excellent location”
Very central location with excellent facilities, would stay there again.
“Recommended”
This hotel is in an ideal location to see Madrid - close to all the tourist areas but a block or two back from the noisier streets. The hotel decor is impressive and we found the staff were most helpful and excellent English speakers! The hotel bar was expensive in comparison to the surrounding bars but still nice. There is also an outdoor courtyard which is lovely if it's warm enough. We stayed mid-week so there were a lot of suits about but they didn't seem to mind us!
“nous recommandons cet hôtel”
hôtel très bien situé - chambre spacieuse - bon confort
“old madrid”
I would thoroughly reccommend this hotel. It provides lovely surrounds and a relaxed atmosphere. It is also central and has many restaurants and bars nearby. There is excellent service in bar and restaurant.
“lovely hotel”
My only complaint about the hotel is that there were a few minor maintenance issues such as the broken door to the safe and one lift not working for the duration of our stay.
